C-DAC announces the CDAC C-CAT 2027 result as category-wise ranks on cdac.in, which you see after logging in with your form number and password. Ranks for the January 2027 C-CAT (February 2027 batch) are expected in January 2027. In 2026, ranks for the July test came on 16 July, 11 days after the exam.

How to Check the CDAC C-CAT 2027 Result
- Go to the C-DAC PG Certificate Programmes admission page at cdac.in on the rank announcement date.
- Log in with your C-CAT Form Number and password.
- View your rank: Category II candidates see a Category II rank, and Category III candidates see both Category II and Category III ranks if they qualify.
- Save a screenshot or printout of your rank for your records.
- Start online choice filling of courses and centres. In 2026 it opened on the same day as the ranks.
If you do not see a rank, you did not qualify under the ranking rules below. Only candidates in the rank list can take part in counselling.
How does C-DAC rank C-CAT candidates?
C-DAC ranks candidates on their total in Sections A + B (Category II) and Sections A + B + C (Category III), after removing those who fail the qualifying rules.
- Candidates in the lowest 10% in Section A are not ranked in any category.
- Zero or negative marks in Section B means no rank in Category II or III.
- Zero or negative marks in Section C means no Category III rank.
- A Category III candidate who qualifies gets two ranks: Category II (A + B) and Category III (A + B + C).
On equal marks, the candidate with more marks in Section A ranks higher. If that is also equal, the higher ratio of correct answers to attempted questions in the section specific to that category decides the rank.
Does C-DAC release a C-CAT answer key?
No. C-DAC’s admission schedule has no answer key or objection stage; it goes straight from the test to the rank announcement. To estimate your score, count +3 for each answer you are sure of and -1 for each wrong one.
What to do after the CDAC C-CAT 2027 result?
After ranks are out, admission happens through two online counselling sessions and three rounds of seat allocation.
- Fill course and centre preferences in the first counselling. Seats are allotted strictly by rank and the order you give, and you cannot edit choices after the deadline.
- Check Round 1 allocation and pay the first instalment of Rs 15,000 + GST by the deadline to keep the seat. You can then lock the seat or stay in Round 2 for a higher choice.
- Check Round 2 allocation. Seats allotted here are final.
- If you still have no seat, pay the Rs 15,000 + GST caution deposit and fill new choices in the second counselling for vacant seats (Round 3).
- Pay the balance course fee and register at your allotted centre with your degree certificates before the course starts.
In the August 2026 batch these steps ran from 16 July to 21 August, and classes began on 24 August. Expect a similar three-to-four-week gap between ranks and the February 2027 course start.
