CDAC CCAT Ranking
Candidates get the following separate ranks, on the basis of their performance in sections A, B, C.
Types of ranks provided in CDAC results are:
- Rank on the basis of performance in Section A
- Rank on the basis of performance in Section A+B
- Rank on the basis of performance in Section A+B+C
You will not get any rank in the following conditions:
- You are one of the lowest 10% performers in any of the sections.
- Or, you have zero (0) or less than zero score (negative) marks.
Note 1: If you had applied for category II or III, but did not qualify in section A due to poor performance, then you will not get any rank in category I or II or III, even if you got good marks in section B and C.
Note 2: Similarly, if you had applied for category II or III, but did not qualify in section B due to poor performance, then you will not get any rank in category II or III. However, you may get a rank in category I if you qualified in section A.

Tie-Breaking for CDAC Result 2020
In case two or more candidates obtain same marks in CDAC CCAT exam, their tie is resolved by applying the following methods:
- If two or more candidates have equal marks in section A or section A+B, or section A+B+C, then those with more marks in section A will get a better rank.
- If marks in section A are also equal, then one with higher value in the ratio of number or correct answers to the number of attempted questions in the specific section required for the category of courses will get higher rank.
- However if this ratio is also the same for the candidates with the tie, then they will get the same rank.
CDAC CCAT Result 2020: Important Things To Know
Candidates can check the course fee and scholarship details for CDAC CCAT 2020 exam from below:
For all courses (except PGDBDA and PG DAI): Rs 90,000 + GST.
For PG DBDA: Rs 1.15 lakh + GST.
For PG DAI: Rs 1.5 lakh + GST.
CDAC Kolkata and CDAC Mohali both offer scholarship amount of Rs 3000 per month, for 5 months, as per their scholarship norms.

CDAC C-CAT Dec 2019 for Feb 2020 Result Frequently Asked Questions
Ans : Officially, the time of declaration of CDAC results is 5 pm on the scheduled date. However the time may vary depending upon technical feasibility and other logistical issues on the day.
Ans : No, candidates with the lowest 10% performances in any of the sections (A or B or C) of C-CAT will not be qualified for ranking in that particular section and its higher sections. Even after the removal of the lowest 10% performers as stated above, if there exist candidates in any section with zero or less than zero marks, then these candidates will also not be qualified for ranking.
Ans : Rank-lists of December 2019 C-CAT are only applicable for admission to the February 2020 batch of C-DAC’s PG Diploma courses. Candidates should note that mere appearance in C-CAT or being in any of the rank-lists neither guarantees nor provides any automatic entitlement to admission. Qualified candidates will have to apply for admission as per the prescribed procedure.
Ans : Cut off rank is the least rank at which candidates get admission in a course. It varies from year to year, course to course. The course and centre allocated to the candidates are published online during seat allotment result announcements. Admissions to various courses at different training centres are offered in the order of CCAT ranks and preferences of courses and centres given by the candidate and the number of seats available for the courses at the particular centres. If some candidates' ranks are not good enough to get them their top preferences, they may be offered their lower preferred courses/centres depending on their ranks. Such candidates may be allocated their higherpreferred course/centre in the second round of seat allocation, depending on their ranks.
