This is an AglaSem practice paper with original questions on the pattern in C-DAC’s admission booklet. It is not an official C-DAC paper, and it does not include Section C, which only Category III candidates write. Dates, eligibility and fees are on the CDAC C-CAT 2027 page.
What is the pattern of the CDAC C-CAT 2027 sample paper?
The paper copies the official C-CAT format: each section has 50 MCQs, lasts 1 hour and carries 150 marks, so Sections A and B together give 300 marks in 2 hours.

Each correct answer gets 3 marks, each wrong answer loses 1 mark and an unattempted question gets 0. C-DAC does not publish a topic-wise split, so the topic counts above are indicative. Section-wise topics are on the CDAC C-CAT 2027 syllabus page.
How to Use This Sample Paper
- Revise the Section A and Section B topics of the syllabus before you attempt the paper.
- Solve Section A in 1 hour, then Section B in 1 hour, one after the other as in the real computer-based test.
- Answer only when you can rule out some options, since each wrong answer costs 1 mark.
- Check your answers with the key, read the solutions and score each section out of 150. You must qualify in both Section A and Section B to get a Category II rank.
- Revise your weak topics, then solve the CDAC C-CAT previous year question papers section by section under a one-hour limit.
