CEED 2018 Result

The result of CEED 2018 has been announced online. The score secured by the candidate, as well as the merit is disclosed through it. The scorecard of the qualified candidates has been displayed in login along with the result. The candidates may also refer to the table below, in order to keep track and stay updated about any change in dates.

Note: CEED 2018 was conducted by IIT Bombay on Saturday, January 20, 2018, in 21 cities across the country. This year a total of 6,423 candidates registered and 5,507 candidates appeared for the exam. Of these, 1,003 candidates qualified. The top-ranked candidate is Ms. AFSHAAR of Bengaluru with a CEED score of 77.53. She is followed by Ms. HIMANI ABHAY DESHPANDE from Thane in the second rank with a CEED score of 75.08, and Mr. AKSHAY ARVIND KAMTHE from Pune in the third rank with a CEED score of 71.42.

CEED 2018 Selection Procedure

Common Entrance Examination in Design is divided into Part A and B. Both the parts are mandatory to be attempted. However,

  • Part A contributes to 25 % of the total marks and part B contains 75 % of the total marks.
  • But for part B, candidates first need to qualify part A. Hence, the Part B of only those candidates will be checked, who qualify Part A of the exam.
  • Then, on the basis of performance in Part A as well as B, the candidate will be termed qualified or not.

How to check CEED Result 2018

The link to check the result of CEED 2018 is uploaded on this page as per schedule. The candidates can able to use the link and check the result by following the steps below:

  • Access the link provided on this page.
  • It will lead to the CEED Result portal.
  • There, the candidate will have to enter Registration Id and Password.
  • Hence, the result will be displayed.

After checking the result, the candidates are advised to download the result and maintain a hard copy of it. The scorecard of qualified students will also be attached along with the result.

How is CEED 2018 Result Determined

To determine the result of CEED 2018, the marking scheme will be used. First the Part A of the exam will be checked. To qualify the Part A, the candidates are required to secure marks more than the cutoff. Once the candidates who have secured marks more than the cutoff are identified. The conducting body will check their Part B.

The Part B is subjective in nature. Hence, there will be no specified cutoff. Instead, the candidates will be selected on the basis of their creativity, drawing skills, communication skills, and analytical problem solving ability. The merit of the candidates will be determined by 25 % marks of part A and 75 % marks of part B.

CEED 2018 Cutoff

The cutoff is only revealed for the Part A of the examination. For Part B, which is a subjective examination, no cutoff is revealed by the conducting body. The Part A Cutoff can be checked from the table below:

CEED 2018 Scorecard

Scorecard of the qualified candidates has been released along with the result. It is only released for those candidates who will qualify Part A as well as part B of the exam. The candidates will have to download and secure it for the counselling round.

The CEED scorecard is only valid for a year and candidates who will seek admission in session 2019-20, will be required appear for CEED 2019.
