- 1 – This explains that the question paper is divided into 2 parts i.e Part A and B. The duration of the former is 2 hour and latter is 3 hour.
- 2 – It shows the Part A is conducted in computer based mode and Part B in pen and paper mode.
- 3 – Explains the marking scheme of Numerical Answer Questions.
- 4 – Explains the marking scheme of MSQ questions.
- 5 – Explains the marking scheme of MCQ questions.

Mode of Exam: The Part A is conducted in CBT mode, Part B is held in offline mode.
Distribution of Questions: The Part A comprises of the following type of questions:

Duration of Exam: The total duration of CEED 2021 is 3 hours i.e 2 hour for Part and 1 for Part – B.
Total Marks: Both Part A and Part B carries 100 marks each.
About CEED 2021
The Common Entrance Examination for Design Test is held by IIT, Bombay annually for admissions into M.Des and PhD into various IIT’s. The examination is held in two parts where in one is a computer based test and other a drawing test. The syllabus of CEED is undefined, however, the conducting body has listed a few topics, from which the questions are asked. Qualified candidates are then called for CEED counselling session.
