CEED 2019 Question Paper and Answer Key – The question paper of Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. CEED 2019 Question Paper and Answer Key
Part A is divided into 3 sections which are numerical answer type questions, multiple select questions and multiple choice questions. On the other hand, Part B is divided into five sections which are sketching, form sensitivity, creativity, visual sensitivity and problem identification.

Details About CEED 2019 Question Paper
The details about the question paper of exam are given below.
- Language: The language of the exam is English only.
- Exam Mode: Part A of the exam is online and the students can mark answers in computer. On the other hand, Part B of the exam is offline and the students can mark answers on the
- Sections: The exam is divided into two sections which are Part A and Part B.
- Number of Questions: 41 questions are there in Part A and 5 questions are there in Part B.
- Type of Questions: Part A has numerical answer type questions, multiple select questions and multiple choice questions and Part B has sketching, form sensitivity, creativity, visual sensitivity and problem identification.
- Duration of the exam: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
The question paper of the exam starts with the instructions which are necessary for the students to read it carefully before answering the questions. The students can start from Part A which carries 10 questions of NAT. The answer to these questions is a real number up to 2 digits as decimal. Part A also has next 10 questions from MSQ in which students can answer more than one choice. Next 25 questions in same part are 25 in which there is one correct answer. Students after completing Part A can start with Part B which carries 8 questions. Students have to attempt one question from the first 5 questions and the rest of the questions are compulsory for the students to attempt.

How to use CEED 2019 Question Paper and Answer Key?
The score can be evaluated after calculating the results. The result can be calculated by using the formula given in the steps below. To calculate result follow the steps given.
Step 1: In Part A,section I carries 10 questions from NAT section, section II carries 10 questions from MSQ and 25 questions from MCQ.
Step 2: 3 marks is given for correctly answering section I questions, 2 marks is given for correctly answering section II and III questions.
Step 3: Use the formula to calculate score of Part A – 3 X (Number of correct answers from NAT questions) + 2 X (Number of correct answers from MSQ questions) + 2 X (Number of correct answers from MCQ questions) – 0.6 X (Number of incorrect answers from MCQ questions)
Step 4: Use the formula to calculate score of Part B – 20 X (Number of section answered correctly)
Step 5: Add the marks calculated in step 3 and step 4. The result is the final marks scored by student.
Note – Each section in Part B carries one question of 20 marks.

About CEED 2019
Common Entrance Exam for Design is for the evaluation of the skills of the students in every aspect whether it is creativity or designing or reasoning or other aspects. The exam is conducted by IIT, Bomabay. On the basis of score of the exam the students may or may not get admissions. The students can get admissions in master of design course on the basis of the marks obtained in this exam. The exam is both computer based and pen paper answer sheet based. Students must read the instructions given in the question paper before attempting the exam.

To be eligible for CEED you must have degree/diploma/postgraduate degree programme of minimum 3 years, from any stream. Thus if you have done B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering you can apply for the exam. However, you must check other eligibility criteria from the brochure before applying.
