COMEDK UGET 2027 is the Under Graduate Entrance Test of the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for B.E./B.Tech admission in about 150 private engineering colleges in Karnataka. It is an all-India computer-based test; the 2027 exam and application dates are to be announced.

COMEDK has not announced the 2027 schedule yet, so the 2027 dates are to be announced. In 2026 it notified the exam date on 8 January, opened applications on 3 February and held the test on 9 May 2026.

How to Apply for COMEDK UGET 2027
You apply for COMEDK UGET 2027 online at comedk.org; there is no offline form. One form and one fee cover COMEDK UGET, Uni-GAUGE E or both, because the two are held as one combined test. Use your own email ID and mobile number, as they cannot be changed later.
Apply Online for COMEDK UGET 2027
The COMEDK UGET 2027 application dates have not been announced yet.
- Register at comedk.org with your name (as in your government ID), email ID and mobile number. An email ID or mobile number used once cannot be used for another registration.
- Note your User ID, sent to your email, and your password, sent to your mobile number.
- Log in, click Go to Application and fill in your personal, category and academic details. Choose COMEDK UGET, Uni-GAUGE E or both.
- Upload your colour photo, your and your parent’s signatures, your ID proof and the other documents asked for, each as a JPEG of at most 160 KB.
- Pick 3 test cities in order of preference. Cities are allotted first come, first served, and cannot be changed after you submit.
- Pay the fee online and keep a copy of the submitted form.

Transaction charges are extra, and the fee is not refundable. In 2026 an edit window from 10 to 13 April 2026 allowed changes to select fields, but not to your name, email ID, mobile number or test city.
How to log in to the COMEDK UGET 2027 candidate portal?
The COMEDK Engineering Login is where you fill in and edit your form, pay the fee, take the official mock tests, download the Test Admission Ticket, view the answer key and raise objections, download your rank card and register for counselling.
- Go to comedk.org and click Engineering Login. The COMEDK UGET 2027 login will open with the 2027 registration, whose dates are to be announced; the COMEDK 2026 engineering login page is still live for 2026 candidates.
- If you are new, register first to get your User ID by email and your password by SMS.
- Enter your Application Seq No / User ID and your password, and type the text shown in the captcha image.
- Click Login. Your dashboard shows your application, mock tests, admit card, answer key and rank card as each is released.
- Use a laptop or desktop computer, not a mobile phone, as the login page advises.
Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the login page and enter your User ID to reset it. Your User ID is in the email COMEDK sends at registration and cannot be changed. If you cannot find it, contact the COMEDK helpdesk on 080-69796266 or at [email protected] (Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM).
Who can apply for COMEDK UGET 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen, OCI or PIO and have passed or are taking 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English. These are the 2026 rules and may be revised in the 2027 brochure.
- Subjects: Physics, Mathematics and English are compulsory, with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics.
- Marks: at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka), and a pass in each subject.
- All subjects must be passed from one board. Marks cards from two boards are not accepted.
- Diploma holders cannot take the test, as there is no lateral entry.
- Age: as per AICTE/VTU norms. Candidates below 17 years sign a declaration taking responsibility for any admission issue due to age. Original Class 12 / 2nd PUC marks cards are checked at counselling.
What is the COMEDK UGET 2027 exam pattern?
COMEDK UGET is a computer-based test of 180 multiple-choice questions, 60 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, for 180 marks. Each correct answer gets 1 mark and there is no negative marking, so attempt every question.

The test is in English only and runs in several slots on one day. COMEDK allots your slot and centre, and converts scores into percentiles so that all slots are ranked fairly. Candidates who have paid the fee get official mock tests in their login (11 in 2026). The syllabus is on the COMEDK syllabus page.
How does COMEDK counselling work?
COMEDK fills seats by online single-window counselling based on your COMEDK rank. In 2026 it had a mock round and four rounds, with Round 2 only for HKR/KKR seats.
- Register for counselling in your login and pay the Rs 2,000 registration fee (2026; not refundable).
- Upload your documents for online verification.
- Fill in your college and branch choices, and check the mock allotment.
- After each round, accept or upgrade your seat, pay the fee and report to the college.
In 2026, registration ran from 30 May to 12 June, Round 1 seats were allotted on 28 July and Round 4 cut-offs came on 1 September 2026.
