2025 brought the format still in use: 50 compulsory questions and 60 minutes in every paper, and at most five subjects per candidate. The subject list was cut from 63 to 37, so the Section IB languages and some domain subjects have no 2025 paper.

NTA’s result press release of 4 July 2025 says 13,54,699 candidates registered and 10,71,735 appeared, across 300 exam cities.
What changed in the CUET UG 2025 paper?
Every paper had 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes, with no optional questions. Candidates could take at most five subjects, and the list was cut to 37 subjects.
