CUET UG 2022 was the first edition of the test. In most papers candidates could choose 40 of the 50 questions, unlike the all-compulsory format used since 2025.
Languages were split into Section IA (13 languages) and Section IB (20 more languages), which is why 2022 has papers for French, German, Japanese, Tibetan and other languages no longer offered.

Are the 2022 memory-based papers official?
No. They were put together from what candidates recalled after their shifts in July 2022. Use the official subject-wise papers and the NTA answer key on this page for exact questions and answers.
Why does CUET 2022 have papers in Bodo, Russian and other languages?
In 2022 CUET offered 20 extra languages in Section IB besides the 13 main ones. They were dropped when the list was cut to 37 subjects in 2025, so these papers are now mainly language practice.
