What is DNB PDCET Entrance Exam?

The DNB PDCET stands for Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test. Organized by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), it is the National level Medical entrance exam for admission to Post Diploma DNB Broad Specialty courses in NBEMS accredited hospitals and institutes. The exam is meant for doctors who hold a recognised postgraduate medical diploma and wish to upgrade to a DNB broad speciality degree. DNB PDCET 2026 Application Form | DNB PDCET Registration

The DNB PDCET 2026 application form was made available by NBEMS from 17 February 2026, with the last date to apply on 8 March 2026. Candidates completed the DNB PDCET application form for the Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test after checking the eligibility criteria, entering accurate details, uploading documents and paying the application fee of INR 4,250 (plus applicable taxes). A correction window was open from 11 – 13 March 2026.

DNB PDCET Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the DNB PDCET, candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions set by NBEMS. The key requirements are:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • The candidate must have passed the final examination for a Postgraduate Diploma recognised by an Indian University.
  • Proof of passing the PG Diploma final examination must be available on or before 31 May 2026.
  • The candidate must not be simultaneously enrolled in any other MD/MS/DNB programme.
