DNB PDCET Result 2027: Expected Date, Scorecard, Merit List

NBEMS will declare the DNB PDCET 2027 result on natboard.edu.in. In 2026 the result came on 14 May, about a month after the 12 April exam, and scorecards followed on 22 May. So the 2027 result is expected in May 2027. There are no qualifying marks; you get a rank in your specialty’s merit list.

How to Check the DNB PDCET Result 2027

1. Go to natboard.edu.in and open the DNB-PDCET page.
2. Open the DNB PDCET 2027 result link or notice to see the specialty-wise result.
3. To get your scorecard, use the applicant login once NBEMS makes scorecards available.
4. Log in with your User ID (application ID) and password.
5. Download the scorecard and keep printed copies for counselling.

Scorecards stay downloadable for only 6 months from the result date, and NBEMS does not provide them after that.

What will the DNB PDCET 2027 scorecard show?

The scorecard shows your marks and your rank among candidates of the same broad specialty.

Is there a qualifying mark in DNB PDCET 2027?

No. DNB PDCET is a ranking exam, so there is no minimum qualifying percentile or percentage. All candidates who appear are ranked by marks, and NBEMS publishes a separate merit list for each broad specialty.

If two or more candidates have the same marks, the latest bulletin breaks the tie in this order:

1. Fewer wrong answers in the whole paper.
2. Fewer wrong answers in Group A, then Group B, then Group C of the paper.
3. Higher aggregate percentage in all MBBS professional exams (FMGE marks for foreign medical graduates).
4. Older candidate ranks higher.

Can you challenge DNB PDCET 2027 questions or get re-evaluation?

You can challenge a question only for a technical error, with supporting medical literature, within 2 calendar days after the exam through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal. Re-evaluation, rechecking and re-totalling are not allowed.

In 2026, faculty reviewed every question after the exam and found 9 questions across specialties to be incorrect or ambiguous; all candidates got full marks for them.

What happens after the DNB PDCET 2027 result?

NBEMS runs centralised, merit-based online counselling at counseling.nbe.edu.in, and seats are allotted on merit-cum-choice in specialty-wise merit order. In 2026 Round 1 registration was open from 2 to 6 July.

• Register once at the start and pay the counselling fee (Rs 2,500 in 2026).
• Deposit the first-year course fee (Rs 1,25,000 in 2026) to complete registration; it is refunded if you get no seat in any round.
• Fill choices from the available seats; the 2026 counselling had Round 1, Round 2 and a final mop-up round.
• After an allotment, choose Freeze or Upgrade; if you choose neither, you cannot take part in later rounds and the course fee is forfeited.
• Join the allotted hospital within the deadline, with original documents for verification.

Your result and merit position are valid only for that year’s admission session and cannot be carried forward.
