GPAT Answer Key 2027: Date, Response Sheet

NBEMS will publish the GPAT 2027 provisional answer key and each candidate’s response sheet at natboard.edu.in after the exam. In 2026 the key came on 13 March, six days after the exam, so the 2027 key is expected in March 2027. You can challenge answers for Rs 200 per question.

How to Check the GPAT 2027 Answer Key

You check the GPAT answer key and your recorded responses in your applicant login at natboard.edu.in.

Go to natboard.edu.in and open the GPAT page.
Log in with your User ID or application ID and password.
Open the provisional answer key and response sheet link.
Compare your marked answers with the key and note any question you want to challenge.

How can you challenge a GPAT 2027 answer?

You challenge a GPAT answer online through the key challenge link, paying a non-refundable Rs 200 per question. The window stays open for three days.

In 2026, challenges were open from 3 PM on 13 March to 3 PM on 16 March 2026.
Only paid challenges made within the window are considered.
Subject experts review the challenges. NBEMS does not reply to each candidate.
Claims about the difficulty level of a question are not accepted.

What happens after the challenge window?

NBEMS releases the final answer key and declares the GPAT result based on it.

In 2026, NBEMS declared 7 questions technically incorrect and gave full marks for them to everyone. It corrected the answers of 4 more questions, and only candidates who chose the corrected option got marks.

How to Calculate Your GPAT 2027 Score

Your raw score is 4 times your correct answers minus your wrong answers, out of 500.

Correct answer: +4
Wrong answer: -1
Unattempted: 0
Dropped question: full marks to all candidates, as decided in the final key

For example, 70 correct and 30 wrong answers give 70 x 4 – 30 = 250 marks.

Is the GPAT question paper released with the answer key?

Yes. NBEMS shows the questions with the provisional key in your login. In 2026, the post-challenge question paper and final keys were also made available from 15 April 2026.

What is the fee to challenge the GPAT answer key?

Rs 200 per question challenged, paid online. The fee is not refunded even if your challenge is accepted.

Can I challenge the GPAT answer key after the window closes?

No. NBEMS considers only paid challenges made within the notified three-day window.
