This is an AglaSem practice paper with original questions on the GPAT pattern given in the NBEMS information bulletin. It is not an official NBEMS or PCI paper. Dates, eligibility and the application process are on the GPAT 2027 page.
What is the pattern of the GPAT 2027 sample paper?
The paper copies the GPAT 2026 pattern, which is expected to continue in 2027: 125 MCQs for 500 marks in 180 minutes, in English only.

Each correct answer gets 4 marks, each wrong answer loses 1 mark and an unattempted question gets 0. The real test is computer-based, and the 2026 bulletin says it is split into time-bound sections (for example, 5 sections of 25 questions with 36 minutes each) that you cannot revisit once their time is over. How to Use This Sample Paper
- Revise Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology first, since they carry 104 of the 125 questions.
- Solve the full paper in one timed sitting of 180 minutes, at about 36 minutes per 25 questions, without going back to earlier blocks.
- Skip questions where you cannot rule out at least two options, since each wrong answer costs 1 mark.
- Check your answers with the key, read the solutions and work out your score out of 500.
- Revise your weak topics, then solve the GPAT previous year question papers from 2019 to 2026 to see how real questions are set.
