The HP LEET model paper is the sample question booklet that HPTSB prints as Appendix II of its prospectus. It shows the booklet cover, instructions and question style of the real test. Use it with past papers to practise for HP LEET 2027, expected around May 2027.

What pattern should an HP LEET practice paper follow?
Practise to the 2026 pattern: 100 multiple choice questions in 2 hours, with 25 each from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and General Knowledge. Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1.
The booklet comes in series A, B, C and D and is bilingual, in English and Hindi. You mark answers on a separate OMR sheet with a blue or black pen.
How should you use the HP LEET model paper?
- Read the HP LEET syllabus so you know the four sections.
- Go through the sample booklet’s instructions so the real booklet holds no surprises.
- Sit a full past paper in one 2-hour stretch with a timer and a printed OMR-style answer sheet.
- Score yourself: +4 for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong one.
- Revise every topic you got wrong or guessed, and keep adding to your Himachal GK notes.
Model paper or previous year papers: which should you solve?
Solve both. The sample booklet shows the format, but most of your practice should come from the HP LEET previous year question papers, which are full 100-question papers.
