The HPCET result 2027 is expected in May 2027, about two weeks after the exam; the 2026 brochure set a tentative date of 21 May. HPTU shows your subject-wise marks after you log in. To qualify for B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, MBA or MCA you need at least 40 marks (30 for reserved categories).

How to Check the HPCET 2027 Result
- Watch the HPTU website (himtu.ac.in) for the HPCET 2027 result notice.
- Open the result link, or log in to the HPTU portal with your HPCET credentials.
- See your roll number and subject-wise or section-wise marks.
- Download or save the scorecard; you upload it with your counselling form.
In 2026 the counselling portal showed each candidate’s HPCET result, with name, roll number and subject-wise marks, on the dashboard after login.
What does the HPCET 2027 scorecard show?
The result gives your marks for each section of your paper and your total.
What is the expected HPCET 2027 cut off?
HPTU publishes minimum marks, not closing ranks. These minimums from the 2026 admission rules (2026, HPTU Prospectus Part-II) are the reference for 2027.

Meeting the minimum makes you eligible for counselling; the marks at which seats actually fill depend on the college, branch and round, and HPTU does not publish them.
How is HPCET merit worked out, and how are ties broken?
Merit is course-wise, on your total HPCET marks. If two B.Tech or B.Pharmacy candidates tie, HPTU uses these steps in order:
- Higher marks in Physics.
- Higher marks in Chemistry.
- Higher marks in the 10+2 qualifying exam, checked at counselling if not in the form.
- The older candidate ranks higher.
Other papers break ties section by section in paper order, for example Verbal Ability first for MBA and MCA, then graduation marks and age.
What should you do after the HPCET result?
Fill the separate HPTU online counselling-cum-admission form; the result alone does not give you a seat. In 2026 the form ran from 18 June, later extended to 7 July, and seats were then allotted in rounds.
- Apply on the HPTU counselling portal with your HPCET login; no form fee is charged if you apply only on HPCET merit.
- For B.Tech you can also tick JEE Main as a basis, since half of B.Tech seats are filled on JEE Main merit.
- Keep originals ready: qualifying exam certificate and marks sheet, date of birth proof, HPCET scorecard, character certificate, and domicile or category certificates if applicable.
- At admission you pay the HPTU fee of Rs 3,000 a year and a one-time Rs 1,500 registration fee.
