What is the HPU MAT Result 2026? The HPU MAT Result 2026 is the score card of the candidate in the Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test. It carries the section-wise marks across the four sections, the total marks out of 200, and the overall rank. Candidates log in to the candidate portal with their HPU MAT 2026 registration number and password to view and download the score card. The score card is a key document for further admission rounds and must be preserved till MBA admission is complete.

1. Visit the official website at hpuniv.ac.in or the admission portal nadmissions.hpushimla.in.
2. Click on the “HPU MAT 2026 Result / Score Card” link.
3. Log in with your registration number and password (or date of birth, as required).

GD, PI and Application Rating

HPU MAT 2026 alone does not decide admission. Shortlisted candidates appear for the following stages, the cumulative performance in which forms the final merit list.

• Personal Interview (PI): Tests subject knowledge, motivation for the MBA, business environment awareness, and overall personality.
• Application Rating: Marks awarded on the basis of qualifying examination performance – marks obtained in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s degree.
• Final Merit: HPU-MAT score + GD + PI + Application Rating, as per the weightages specified in the HPU MAT 2026 information brochure.

Counselling Process

After the final merit list is released following GD and PI, HPUBS conducts counselling for MBA admission. Candidates on the merit list are called in order of rank and must report for counselling on the notified date with all original documents. Subsidised and non-subsidised seats are filled separately. Candidates must confirm admission by paying the admission fee within the stipulated time to secure their seat in the MBA programme starting from July 2026.
