JCECE previous year question papers of JCECEB’s Jharkhand Combined entrance for 2018, 2019 and 2022 are free to download here as PDFs: the Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology booklets of 2018 and 2019 (2019 with answers), a typed 2022 paper with unofficial answers, and JCECEB’s provisional and final keys of 2026. The subject split has not changed, with 50 one-mark questions per subject and a 1/4 mark cut for a wrong answer, so the 2019 booklets are the best full practice for the test expected in July 2027.

How to Use JCECE Previous Year Papers?
- Keep to 72 seconds a question. Each subject gives 50 questions an hour. Sit the Physics and Chemistry booklet as one 2-hour test, as in the real exam, then the 1-hour Mathematics or Biology paper.
- Guessing pays a little. With +1 and −1/4 and four options, even a blind guess averages a small gain. Ruling out one option raises it to about +0.17 a question.
- Start with 2019, because its three booklets include answers and use the same 50-per-subject split as today. Then solve 2018, checking answers from your Class 11 and 12 textbooks.
- Use 2022 for recent topics. It is a typed paper with unofficial answers, so treat doubtful answers with care. About nine months remain before July 2027.

How many questions are there in JCECE?
50 questions per subject, 1 mark each. PCM and PCB groups answer 150 questions and PCMB 200.
Is there negative marking in JCECE?
Yes. 1/4 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
Which JCECE papers have answers?
The 2019 booklets include answers, and the 2022 typed paper has unofficial answers. The 2018 booklets have none. For 2026 there are JCECEB’s provisional and final keys, but no question paper.
How long is each JCECE paper?
Physics and Chemistry together take 2 hours. Mathematics and Biology take 1 hour each.
Is the JCECE paper in Hindi?
Yes. The paper is in English and Hindi, and the English version is final if a translation is unclear.
Is there a JCECE agriculture previous year question paper?
Yes. The 2022 PDF is from the agriculture and allied courses test of 4 December 2022, a typed paper rebuilt from the booklet students shared, with unofficial answers. The 2026 page has JCECEB’s provisional and final keys for Agriculture and Allied Courses.
