JCECE Result 2020 – Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) releases the result for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). The expected date for the release of the JECE result 2020 is in the last week of June 2020. Candidates can check their result online on the official site of JCECE i.e. jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. JCECE 2020 Merit List Compilation

JCECEB shall prepare a merit list for all the appeared and selected candidates of JCECE 2020. The higher the marks candidates secure in the JCECE 2020 the higher the rank they can get in the JCECE 2020 merit list. At the time of the preparation of the JCECE 2020 merit list if in case any two or more candidates scores the same marks then an inter-se-merit list shall be applied in this case which would be helpful in selecting the candidates. This process is known as the tie-breaking criteria of JCECE 2020.

JCECE 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria

B.V.Sc. and A.H. and B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) Stream

• Candidates having higher marks in Biology in the examination shall be preferred over the other candidates.
• If the tie still exists then the candidates having higher marks in Chemistry in the examination shall be preferred over the other candidates.
• Candidates who is older in age will be preffered over the other candidate.
• If the tie still continues then the candidate whose name’s alphabet 1st comes in the english alphabets shall be preferred over the other candidate.

B.Sc (Hons.) (Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture), B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech (Dairy Technology) Stream

• Candidates having higher marks in Physics in the examination shall be preferred over the other candidates.
• If the tie still exists then the candidates having higher marks in Chemistry in the examination shall be preferred over the other candidates.
• Then the candidates who is older in age will be preffered over the other candidate.
• If the tie still continues then the candidate whose name’s alphabet 1st comes in the english alphabets shall be preferred over the other candidate.

How to check JCECE 2020 Result?

Step 1: Candidates can click on the link which will be given above.

Step 2: A new page with the merit list will appear, candidates can select their course and then they are required to search their roll number.

Step 3: If the candidate is able to check their roll number their then it will make sure that they are selected for JCECE 2020.

Step 4: All the qualified candidates are required to download and take a printout of the JCECE 2020 merit list for future references.

JCECE 2020 Counseling

After the declaration of JCECE 2020 result all the qualified candidates are required to appear for the counseling round. JCECE notifies the candidates about the counselling round through the newpaper and also by releasing notification on its official site. There shall be two round of JCECE 2020 Counselling which are explained below.

• First Round: In the 1st round all the qualified candidates can appear. The seats in the top colleges shall be allotted to the candidates as per their rank.
• Second Round: After the admission of all the selected candidates, if there is any seat is found vacant then the other appeared candidates of JCECE 2020 shall be called for the counselling as per their marks and rank in the qualifying examination.

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Government. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests annually (depends upon the approval granted by the respective Departments of Govt. of Jharkhand for the respective session)
