Each subject follows the current CBSE Class 11 and 12 units listed below. Check the 2027 information bulletin when it is out, in case JCECEB changes anything.

How are JCECE 2027 questions and marks set?
Every subject has 50 objective questions of 1 mark each, with 1/4 mark deducted for a wrong answer and none for an unanswered question. Marking more than one option counts as a wrong answer.

How should you prepare for JCECE 2027?
- Read the NCERT Class 11 and 12 textbooks of your group line by line; most questions are at this level.
- Plan for the timetable: Biology, Physics and Chemistry, and Mathematics are separate sittings on the same day.
- Because wrong answers cost 1/4 mark, skip questions you cannot narrow down to one option.
- Ties are broken by Biology then Chemistry marks for B.V.Sc, B.F.Sc and Agriculture, so give Biology extra time if you want these courses.
Solve the JCECE previous year question papers under timed conditions to get used to the question style.
