JEMAT question papers are not released by MAKAUT, so there are no past JEMAT papers or answer keys here. This page has MAKAUT’s official JEMAT sample questions on English, maths and reasoning as a free PDF, and the 20 sample questions in the JEMAT 2026 brochure. The real test has 50 questions of 2 marks each for 100 marks in 60 minutes, and JEMAT 2027 is expected in June 2027.

How to Practise for JEMAT Without Past Papers?
- Keep to 72 seconds a question. 50 questions in 60 minutes. Practise the sample questions against a clock so you finish with a few minutes in hand.
- Give English and Maths equal time. Each carries 40 of the 100 marks. Logical Reasoning has only 10 questions, so finish it quickly.
- Build full 50-question sets. The sample questions are few, so make your own timed sets of 20 English, 20 Maths and 10 Reasoning questions in the same style.
- Plan for June 2027. Applications are expected in May 2027, with the test a few weeks later. Start full timed sets by April 2027.

Does MAKAUT release JEMAT previous year question papers?
No. MAKAUT does not publish past JEMAT papers. This page has its official sample questions instead.
How many questions are there in JEMAT?
50 multiple-choice questions of 2 marks each, for 100 marks in 60 minutes: 20 in General English, 20 in Mathematics and 10 in Logical Reasoning.
Is there negative marking in JEMAT?
MAKAUT’s 2026 scheme of examination does not mention negative marking. Check the JEMAT 2027 brochure when it is out.
Is there a JEMAT answer key?
Not in 2026. The official schedule went from the exam on 7 June to the rank cards on 20 June 2026 with no answer key or challenge step.
