Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research has release JEST Application Form 2018 on November 16, 2017. The form has been released online and the candidates will only be able to submit it until December 22, 2017. In order to submit JEST 2018 Application Form, the candidates will first have to register. The registered candidates will be allocated a Username and Password to login and furnish details in the application form. The application form will only be accepted if the candidates will pay the application fee of Rs. 300 (Rs. 150 for reserved class). JEST Application Fee 2018

To submit the application form of JEST it is mandatory to pay the application fee. The application fee for JEST 2018 is:

  • Rs. 300 for General Category male Candidates.
  • Rs. 150 for Women General Candidates.
  • Rs. 150 for SC / ST Male Category Candidates
  • For Women General Candidates.

Mode of Payment – The fee amount can be submitted online through Debit / Credit Card or Net Banking.

Refund Policy for JEST 2018 – As per the police of the conducting body, the fee is non-fundable in nature. Yet, if due to any reasons, the candidates submit the application fee twice then refund is applicable. The candidates will have to inform the conducting body but within 7 days from the payment date.

Image Specification For JEST 2018

The candidate will have to upload the Passport Size Photograph and Scanned Signature in the application form. The images are to be uploaded in the below prescribed format, else the application form will not be accepted.

Candidates have to give a good name while saving their image file. The file name may include alphabet, underscore, and numbers. Special characters are not allowed. An example of good file name is Loginname_date_photo.jpg and Loginname_date_signatuer.jpg

Note: Candidates must retain the copy of the photograph which they will upload in the application form. Candidates will have to paste it on the admit card if the image is available on it.

How to Apply for JEST 2018

The detailed process to submit the application form will be revealed with the release of the application form. Until then, the candidates may check the brief application process.

Login to JEST 2018: The candidates will have to register for JEST by creating a login. The login can be created by entering the E-mail Id. The Login will then be used for filling the form, downloading admit card, checking result, etc. Hence, it will be vital to keep the Login credentials safe (Username and Password).

Filling JEST Application Form 2018: After login, the candidates will have to enter details in the application form. Along with the details, the candidates will also have to upload the scanned images. The entered information must be authentic and the images should be uploaded in the correct format.

Fee Payment: The last step is to pay the application fee. The amount and process of fee payment is as mentioned above. The candidates must submit it in the prescribed format only. After the fee payment, the application process will end.

Note: Check all the details carefully before the final submit. Once the form is submitted, the editing will not be allowed.

What to Do After Submitting the JEST Application Form 2018

Once the application form for JEST is completely submitted, the candidates will receive an e-mail on the registered e-mail id. The Unique Submission Number will be mentioned in it. If the candidates will not receive the confirmation e-mail then they must contact JEST authority.

Exam Centers for JEST 2018

IGCAR will conduct JEST in total 34 locations. The candidates are to choose the most convenient one while submitting the application form. It should be noted that the center choices cannot be changed after submitting.
