What is the JEST Exam?

JEST stands for Joint Entrance Screening Test. It is a national-level screening test conducted by the JEST Consortium (organized for 2026 by IISER Tirupati) for admission to PhD and Integrated PhD programmes in Physics and Theoretical Computer Science, as well as allied areas such as Neuroscience and Computational Biology.
