JEST 2020 – Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) has released JEST 2020 application form online at jest.org.in. Last date to submit JEST 2020 form is December 14, 2019. JEST 2020 exam is scheduled to be held on February 16, 2020. It is a national level test which is conducted for admission in Ph.D / Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science or Neuroscience or Computational Biology. JEST 2020 Application Form
The application form for JEST 2020 is released by online mode only. No offline form is released for the candidates. To apply online, candidates have to first register by entering their basic information and then reset their password for JEST login. Once the registration part is done, candidates can then proceed to fill in their personal details, academic record details, upload images, exam details, etc. Pay the required amount of application and finally submit the form.

M.Sc in physics. Some institutes accepts BE/ ME/ M.Sc/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Applied Physics and Mathematics.
Theoretical Computer Science –
M.E/M.tech/M.Sc in computer science and its related subjects. Also, candidate should be interested in Mathematical aspects of Computer science.
PhD in Neuroscience –
B.E/B.tech/ MCA in Computer science ,M.Sc (Physics/Mathematics).
PhD in Computational Biology –
M.Sc./ M.E. / MCA/ M.Tech in any engineering or science discipline with interest in biological problems and good mathematical skills.
Integrated M.Sc. / M.Tech – Ph.D Programme (Physics)-
Different colleges asks for different courses like B.sc (physics/maths) at SNBNCBS, B.Sc (Physics) at IMSc, B.sc (physics/maths)/ BE/B.Tech in instrumentation/electrical/engineering physics/ computer science and engineering/electronics and communication/ optics and Photonics at IIA, B.Sc (Physics) or BE/B.Tech in Engineering physics at NISER, B.sc (physics/maths)/BE/B.Tech at Bose institute.
Integrated Ph.D Programme in Theoretical Computer Science –
B.Sc/B.tech/B.E/MCA in computer science or a related discipline and should have interest in mathematical aspects of Computer Science.

JEST 2020 Exam Pattern
JEST conducts exam mainly for Physics subject. Question paper for physics will be divided into 3 sections- Part A, Part B and Part C. Check the exam pattern for JEST 2020 Physics test.
- Mode of examination : JEST examination is conducted in Offline mode.
- Duration: 3 hours is provided to a candidate to complete their paper.

JEST 2020 Admit Card
JEST 2020 Admit Card will be available online at the official website. No admit card will be sent by post/email. Admit card is an important document which is to be kept safe for future stages like admission and result checking. It is advised to keep your JEST 2020 Admit Card safe. To download admit card, candidate can use his/her User ID and Password. Details present on the admit card are his/her name, User ID, examination city, centre, date and time. Candidates have to bring hard copy of admit card along with one photo ID proof to the exam centre.
JEST 2020 Answer Key
Answer key consists of the answers you have marked during examination. To know whether you have qualified for the exam or not, you have to download answer key. With the help of JEST 2020 Answer Key, candidate will be able to check his/her JEST score. JEST releases 4 series of answer key – Series A, Series B, Series C , Series D. all the Answer Key Series will be released in PDF format. Make sure that your download correct Answer Key. To download JEST 2020 Answer Key, candidate will need User Id (Email address) and password and enter them in the official website of JEST. After qualifying, Candidate will be called for next round which is interview round.
JEST 2020 Result
Results will be declared online at the JEST official website. Applicants have to download score card by using their User ID and Password. JEST 2020 Result ill be declared in Score Card format. After qualifying the prescribed cutoff for JEST, candidate will be called for interview round. last year, JEST 2019 cutoff for M.sc/Integrated Ph.D was 35 marks and for Ph.D was 32 marks.
