How to download the JEST 2027 answer key?
JEST posts the answer keys on its home page, so you do not need a login to view them.
- Open jest.org.in after the exam and look for the answer key notice in Important Announcements.
- Open the key for your subject (Physics or TCS).
- The Physics key is a copy of the question paper with the correct options marked, so you can check each question directly.
- Note down your own answers and compare them question by question.
- Check the home page again for the updated key used for results.

How to challenge the JEST 2027 answer key?
JEST opens a short challenge window right after the keys come out. In 2026 it ran for 48 hours, from 12 noon on 17 April to 12 noon on 19 April. The challenge method and any fee are given in the notice released with the keys, so read it as soon as the keys are out.
Valid challenges change the key. In the JEST 2024 final key, for example, one Physics question was withdrawn and every candidate got full marks for it.
How to calculate your JEST 2027 score?
Use the marking scheme of your paper. The Physics scheme below is from JEST 2026; the 2027 scheme is not announced yet.

Score = total marks for correct answers minus the penalty for wrong ones, out of 100. In TCS, Part A carries +3 and -1 per question, and Part B is marked by the examiners, so you cannot fully predict a TCS score from the key.
