What is the expected JEST 2027 cut off?
JEST sets no single admission cut off; each institute fixes its own. The latest official figures are IISc’s JEST Physics rank cut-offs for its Integrated PhD (Physical Sciences), 2026-27 admissions (IISc cut-off report, 21 April 2026, and addendum, 6 May 2026).

What happens after the JEST 2027 result?
- There is no central JEST counselling. Apply to each institute you want, as per its own notice and dates.
- Institutes shortlist candidates from JEST scores and their own criteria, then hold interviews or written tests.
- Final offers come from each institute’s merit list.
- Your JEST score stays valid for two cycles, so you can use it again for the next year’s admissions.
