How to Download the Jharkhand Polytechnic Answer Key 2027
The PECE answer key is a PDF in the Download section of jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in; you do not need to log in.
- Open jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and go to Download.
- Click “Answer key of Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2027” when it appears.
- Find your set code (A, B, C or D) in the PDF. It is printed on your question booklet.
- Note the answers for questions 1 to 150 of your set and compare them with your copy of answers.
How do I challenge the PECE answer key?
JCECEB invites objections to the provisional key for a few days after it is released. In 2026 the key came out on 13 July 2026 and objections were accepted until 16 July 2026.
- Read the answer key notice for the objection method and last date.
- Give the question number, your set code and a clear reason for each objection.
- Subject experts review every objection, and JCECEB publishes a clarification along with the final key.
- The result is prepared from the final key, so no objections are taken after that.
How to Calculate Your PECE Score from the Answer Key
Your PECE score is the number of correct answers minus a quarter of the number of wrong answers. The maximum is 150.

Example: 100 correct, 20 wrong and 30 left blank gives 100 – (20 x 0.25) = 95 marks. In 2026 the topper scored 133.75. Check your rank in the PECE result once it is out.
Can I get my PECE OMR sheet re-evaluated?
No. The prospectus says there is no re-evaluation or re-totalling of answer sheets, and no letters on this are considered. Raising an objection to the provisional answer key is the only way to correct a mistake.
