How to Check the Jharkhand Polytechnic Result 2027
JCECEB publishes the PECE result as a merit list PDF in the Result column of its website.
- Open jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Go to the Result column (or Download) on the home page.
- Click “Result of Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2027”.
- Search the PDF for your roll number or application number (Ctrl + F).
- Note your marks and ranks, and save the PDF for counselling.
What does the PECE result show?
The PECE merit list shows these details for each candidate:
- Application number, roll number and name
- Gender, date of birth and category
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics marks, and the total out of 150
- Common merit list (overall) rank
- Category rank, and EWS rank where it applies
- Separate ranks for SMQ (ex-servicemen wards), MCQ (Muslim community quota), PwD and tuition fee waiver, where they apply
The 2026 merit list had 37,171 candidates, and the top score was 133.75 out of 150.
How is the PECE merit list prepared?
JCECEB ranks candidates on their total PECE marks and makes a combined merit list plus category-wise lists. There is no fixed pass mark; in 2026, candidates in the merit list with positive marks could join counselling.

What is the expected Jharkhand Polytechnic 2027 cut off?
JCECEB publishes no cut-off list, so the table shows the last common merit list (CML) rank allotted a UR seat in Round 1 of 2026 at three government polytechnics, with that rank’s PECE marks. Later rounds closed at higher ranks.

2026 figures derived from the official JCECEB Round 1 allotment list of 10 August 2026 and the PECE 2026 result. Reserved-category and TFW seats closed at different ranks, and there is no minimum qualifying mark beyond a positive score.
What happens after the Jharkhand Polytechnic result?
After the result, JCECEB runs online counselling for seat allotment, usually in three rounds. In 2026 the first round began the day after the result.
- Register on the “Online Counselling for Admission in Polytechnic” link and pay the counselling fee: Rs 400 (General, EWS, BC-I, BC-II) or Rs 250 (SC, ST and all women).
- Fill in as many institute and branch choices as you like, in order of preference. There is no limit.
- Pay a partial admission fee of Rs 1,000 to download the provisional seat allotment letter. It is adjusted in your tuition fee if you join, and forfeited if you do not.
- Report to the allotted institute by the given date for document check and admission, or the seat is cancelled.
Carry the originals of your PECE admit card, Class 10 admit card, marksheet and pass certificate, local resident certificate, and any caste, EWS, income or disability certificate you claim a benefit for.
