MAH AAC CET 2027 (Maharashtra Applied Art and Crafts CET) is the offline drawing and general knowledge test the State CET Cell, Maharashtra holds for admission to the four-year Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) course in 2027-28. Dates are not out yet. Going by 2026, registration should open in January 2027 and the exam should be held in April 2027.

How to Apply for MAH AAC CET 2027
You apply for MAH AAC CET 2027 online only, through the registration link State CET Cell posts on cetcell.mahacet.org. The form has not opened yet; in 2026 registration ran from 29 January to 16 March 2026. Forms sent by post or courier are rejected.
Apply Online for MAH AAC CET 2027
Applications for MAH AAC CET 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Open cetcell.mahacet.org and click New Registration for MAH-AAC-CET 2027 when the link goes live.
- Enter a personal email ID and mobile number. Your application ID and password are sent to them.
- Keep your Aadhaar details updated and your APAAR ID ready. Both are verified through DigiLocker during registration.
- Fill in your personal and HSC details and upload a recent colour photo (2 x 2 inch, 100 KB to 5 MB) and your signature.
- Pay the fee online. No other payment mode is accepted.
- Choose your exam city in Maharashtra, upload the required documents and print the registration confirmation.
Submit only one form. If you submit more than one, State CET Cell treats the last form with a paid fee as valid. The fee below is from the 2026 brochure. It is non-refundable and gateway charges are extra.

How to log in to the MAH AAC CET 2027 candidate portal?
The State CET Cell’s CET (Examination) portal is where you fill and pay for the MAH-AAC-CET form, download the admit card, see your tentative score card with images of your practical answer sheets, and raise a grievance on your marks. BFA CAP admission after the result uses a separate Fine Art CAP portal.
- Open the State CET Cell website and click the CET (Examination) Portal link. The portal for A.Y. 2027-28 will open with MAH AAC CET 2027 registration, expected in January 2027; the portal live now is for A.Y. 2026-27.
- New candidates click Register and sign up with a personal email ID and mobile number. Your application ID and password are sent to both by email and SMS.
- On the Sign In page, enter your registered email ID and password.
- After you sign in, open the MAH-AAC-CET link to fill, complete or pay for your form.
- The same login later shows the admit card, the tentative score card with your practical answer-sheet images, and Objection Tracking for grievances on marks.

Who can apply for MAH AAC CET 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian national who has passed, or is appearing in, HSC (Class 12) in any stream with English as a subject. The rules below are from the 2026 brochure, and there is no age limit.
- Minimum 45% aggregate in HSC or an equivalent exam.
- 40% aggregate for Maharashtra backward class, EWS and PwD candidates.
- Maharashtra State (Type A to E) and All India candidates must take the CET and get a non-zero score to be eligible for BFA admission.
- NRI, OCI, PIO, CIWGC and foreign national candidates do not take the CET. They register on the foreign candidate portal (fn.mahacet.org) after the result.
The 2026 brochure says the writer or scribe facility is not available for this exam.
What is the MAH AAC CET 2027 exam pattern?
MAH AAC CET is a pen-and-paper test of four papers on one day: three practical drawing papers of 50 marks each and one objective General Knowledge paper of 40 marks, for 190 marks in all. Every paper is in English, and you must appear in all four to be considered for BFA admission.

The General Knowledge paper has 40 four-option questions of 1 mark each, with no negative marking. You bring your own colours, brushes, pencils, palette, scale, eraser and cotton rag for the practical papers. The MAH AAC CET syllabus explains what each paper tests and how it is marked.
