The MAT 2026 May session has now reached its final stage, because AIMA conducted the Paper Based Test on 31 May 2026 and will next hold the Computer Based Test on 14 June 2026. Moreover, registration for the CBT mode closes on 8 June 2026. The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level MBA entrance exam that All India Management Association conducts four times a year, and the official website is mat.aima.in. What is MAT Entrance Exam?

The MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. Basically, AIMA conducts this national level MBA entrance exam so that candidates can join MBA and allied programmes across participating B-Schools. Furthermore, AIMA holds MAT in four cycles every year, namely February, May, September, and December. Consequently, the May 2026 cycle now decides admission for the 2026-28 academic session.

MAT 2026 Application Form – Apply Online

AIMA has released the MAT 2026 application form at mat.aima.in. First, check the eligibility criteria; then, fill in accurate details, upload the documents, and finally pay the fee online. Because the CBT registration closes on 8 June 2026, you should submit the form quickly. Moreover, the fee is Rs. 2300 for a single mode (PBT or CBT) and Rs. 4000 for both modes together.

Things to Keep in Mind Before You Apply

Before you start the form, you should quickly review these points.

  • Eligibility: Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline can apply, and final-year students can apply too.
  • Documents: Keep a scanned photograph, signature, and category certificate ready, because the portal asks for them during registration.
  • Payment: Use a debit card, credit card, UPI, net banking, or a wallet to pay the fee immediately.

Sometimes candidates enter wrong details, and therefore AIMA opens a correction window. Accordingly, use this window to match your form with your certificates before the exam.

MAT 2026 Admit Card

Once you submit the form, AIMA releases the hall ticket. Accordingly, AIMA issued the PBT admit card on 28 May 2026 and will release the CBT admit card on 11 June 2026. You can download it from mat.aima.in, and you can also follow the full steps on the MAT admit card page.

MAT Answer Key

After the exam, candidates immediately want to estimate their score. However, AIMA does not release a public answer key; instead, coaching experts publish memory-based solutions soon after each session.

MAT 2026 Result

Finally, AIMA declares the result roughly 15 to 20 days after each session. Therefore, the May session scorecard should arrive in the fourth week of June 2026. You can log in at mat.aima.in to check your score and percentile, and you can read the complete steps on the MAT result page.
