MCAER PG CET is conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) for admissions in various postgraduate programmes in the field of agriculture in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) of Maharashtra. Interested candidates who want to take admission in Maharashtra Agriculture University, have to fill an online application form and qualify the entrance exam. The Examination is conducted for 200 marks and the admission is given on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70% of the CET score and 30% of the CGPA of the student. Admission Process

The candidates who wants to take admission in to Maharashtra Agriculture University first ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria. After checking the eligibility criteria they have to fill online application form for appearing in the common entrance test (CET) which is conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Board, Pune. After completion of application process the conducting authority release the list of eligible candidates who can appear in the entrance exam. The selected eligible candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance exam.

Exam Pattern for MCAER PG CET

The Examination is conducted for 200 marks. The question booklet contain 200 questions of objective nature along with answers in the form of 4 alternatives. There will not be any choice or option for questions. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Examination Centres

The examination centres for conduct of the CET are given in the Table below. The candidate may choose any one centre convenient to him / her. However, the right of allotment of the centre is reserved by the Board.

MCAER PG CET Counselling

The postgraduate admissions is based on merit as per the marks obtained in CET exam. The notification is issued by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research on their official website. Seat allotment is processed as per the merit of the candidate. Candidates have to visit their allotted institute once they have secured a seat in that institute along with their scorecard and other necessary documents.
