The applications for Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test MP PAT exam 2018 might be available from the 4th week of March 2018. The exam is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board for admissions in its various bachelor courses such as B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Tech (Agriculture) etc. The candidates interested in securing a seat in these courses can register for the exam.

Important Dates

The important dates regarding the application process of the MP PAT 2018 exam are provided in the table.

Eligibility for MP PAT 2018

Candidates can go through the eligibility to check whether they will be eligible to apply for the exam. Eligibility according to the course is provided in the table.

Course Qualifying Exam Subjects (in qualifying exam)
B.Sc. (Agriculture) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths.
B.Sc. (Horticulture) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths.
B.Sc. (Forestry) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biotechnology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths.
B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board Physics, Chemistry, English, and Maths.

Note: Candidates appearing for their class 12th exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.

How to fill the application form?

  • Candidates who are eligible for the exam may visit the official website vyapam.nic.in. The application process will be online.
  • Candidates will be able to fill the application form probably from the 4th week of March 2018.
  • Candidates may be required to fill their basic personal and academic details.
  • Candidates might also need to upload scanned images of their recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression as per the specifications that will be mentioned in brochure.

Application Fee

The application fee might be Rs. 500 for the general category and Rs. 250 for reserved category which includes SC/ST/PWD/OBC. The application fee can be paid through both online and offline methods. Online methods might include Internet banking/Credit/Debit card.

MA PAT 2018 Exam syllabus

The MA PAT 2018 exam will be an offline (pen paper based) exam. The candidates can expect around 200 questions which are to be answered in a span of 3 hours (180 minutes). The candidates can expect questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Agriculture as per the syllabus of class 11th and 12th board. Candidates can prepare these subjects to qualify the exam.
