  • Start with NCERT textbooks of Class 11 and Class 12 for Physics, Chemistry, and the chosen third subject (Mathematics / Biology / Agriculture); they cover the bulk of the conceptual base.
  • Decide your group (A or B) early based on your Class 12 stream and the programmes you want to apply for.
  • Maintain a short-notes notebook for formulas, reaction conditions, named reactions, and theorems.
  • For Biology, focus on diagrams, classification charts, and key terms – high-recall topics often appear in MCQs.
  • For Agriculture, refer to standard Class 12 Agriculture board textbooks (MP Board / NCERT) and MP-specific agriculture publications.
  • Practise topic-wise MCQs after every chapter to convert reading into exam-ready recall.
  • Solve at least 5 – 7 full-length mock tests to build CBT navigation speed and accuracy.
  • Attempt previous year question papers to identify recurring themes and the difficulty range.
  • Since there is no negative marking, attempt every question – never leave a blank in the final attempt.
