The Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test MP PAT exam 2018 will probably be held on the 4th week of May 2018. The exam is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board for admissions in colleges and institutes of Madhya Pradesh in undergraduate courses like B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Tech (Agriculture) etc.

The exam is an offline (pen paper based) test which consists of around 200 MCQs from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology etc. The duration of exam of 3 hours (180 minutes). Eligibility Criteria MA PAT 2018

Candidates can go through the eligibility to check if they are eligible for the exam. The eligibility criteria for the exam. The eligibility criteria for the different courses are as follows

B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.sc. (Horticulture)

  • Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • They must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
  • Candidates who will be appearing for their class 12th exams this year are also eligible to apply for the MA PAT 2018 exam.

B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)

  • Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • They must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths as their subjects.
  • Candidates who will be appearing for their class 12th exams this year are also eligible to apply for the MA PAT 2018 exam.

B.Sc. (Forestry)

  • Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • They must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biotechnology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
  • Candidates who will be appearing for their class 12th exams this year are also eligible to apply for the MA PAT 2018 exam.

Application Process MA PAT 2018

Candidates who are are interested in the courses and are eligible for the exam can register for the exam to secure a seat in of the courses.

  • Candidates will be able to fill the application form probably from the 4th week of March 2018.
  • Candidates may visit the official website vyapam.nic.in to register for the exam. The application process will be carried out online.
  • Candidates may be required to fill their basic personal and academic details.
  • Candidates might also need to upload scanned images of their recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression.

MA PAT 2018 Admit Card

The admit card will probably be available from the 1st week of May 2018 candidates can download the admit card from the official website. Candidates may need their application number and date of birth to download the admit card. The admit card will have information about exam timings and centre. Candidates will be required to carry their admit card along with a photo ID proof ( any one of Voter ID card, Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving Licence, Passport).

Exam Pattern

The MA PAT 2018 exam will be a pen paper based (offline) exam. The exam might have 200 MCQs which are to be answered within a span of 3 hours. There is no negative marking in the exam. The pattern of the exam will differ for different courses. The exam pattern of various courses is discussed below.

Syllabus

The syllabus of the exam is as per the syllabus of candidate’s class 11th and 12th subjects which include Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Agriculture, Basic maths, Crop production, Horticulture, etc. Candidates can prepare from their textbooks of class 11th and 12th for the respective subjects. 

Result

The result of MA PAT 2018 is expected to be announced in the month of June 2018 online on the official website vyapam.nic.in. The candidates will need to enter roll number and date of birth on the official website to check their result. The result will have candidate’s name and rank. The rank will be given to the candidate as per the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. 

Counselling Process

The counselling process will most probably be carried out in the month of July 2018 for admissions of candidates in the courses listed above. Candidates can apply for these courses in various colleges and institutes of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates will be called for admissions on the basis of their rank and their choices. Once a seat has been allotted to the candidate they may be required to report in the allotted institute along with necessary documents for admission process.
