MP PAT 2027 (Pre-Agriculture Test) is the entrance exam that the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) holds for admission to B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and B.Tech Agricultural Engineering at Madhya Pradesh’s agriculture universities. The online form is expected in March 2027 and the computer-based exam in May 2027.

MP PAT 2027 Important Dates
MPESB has not announced the PAT 2027 dates yet. In 2026 the form was open from 24 March to 7 April and the exam began on 8 May, so 2027 is expected on the same pattern.

How to Apply for MP PAT 2027
You apply online on the MPESB portal through MP Online, after a one-time MPESB profile registration. Aadhaar registration is compulsory. The form is expected to open in March 2027.
Apply Online for MP PAT 2027
Applications for MP PAT 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Go to esb.mp.gov.in and open the Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT) 2027 application link when it is live.
- Complete MPESB profile registration with your Aadhaar details, if you have not done it before.
- Log in and fill in your personal, Class 12, category and subject-group details.
- Choose four exam cities in order of preference.
- Upload your photo and signature as the rule book specifies.
- Pay the fee online and save the form. Keep the application number safe; you need it to download the admit card.

Who can apply for MP PAT 2027?
You can apply if you have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12 from the MP Board or an equivalent board with the subject group your course needs.
- B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry: Physics and Chemistry with Mathematics, Biology or Agriculture; or the Agriculture group; or Biology, Chemistry and Agriculture.
- B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with English.
- There is no minimum Class 12 percentage for the test and no age limit.
- Students appearing in Class 12 in 2027 can apply, but they must pass that same year to get admission.
- Regular seats need an MP link: you must be an Indian citizen and an MP bona fide resident, or have studied at least 3 straight years in MP in the last 5 years, or be the child of an eligible MP or central government employee posted in MP. Unreserved payment seats are open to candidates from other states.
- B.Sc (Hons) Forestry also needs a height of at least 163 cm (152.5 cm for listed hill and North-East groups) and a chest of 84 cm with 5 cm expansion.
Sons and daughters of MP farmers who depend fully on farming get a 5% horizontal reservation in every category.
What is the MP PAT 2027 exam pattern?
MP PAT is one 3-hour computer-based paper of 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, in Hindi and English. Your subjects depend on the group you studied in Class 12.

Each correct answer gets 1 mark and 0.25 mark is cut for each wrong answer. If the exam runs in more than one shift, MPESB normalises the scores. The topic list is on the MP PAT 2027 syllabus page.
