NATA 2020 Admit Card Release Date
New dates of NATA 2020 are out and the dates are August 01 and 29, 2020 respectively. Admit card for both the tests will be out around 10 to 15 days prior. This is because as per the initial schedule CoA had scheduled the issuance of NATA admit card 15 days prior to the first test and 10 days prior to the second test.
Therefore as per the new schedule, NATA 2020 admit card can be expected to be out in the 4th week of July for the first test and in the 4th week of August for the second test.

How to Download NATA 2020 Admit Card?
The admit card for NATA 2020 is released by online mode only. To download it, you may follow the instructions as provided below.
Step 1: Click on the direct link on this page to download admit card.
Step 2: The login page opens. Now enter application number, password in the specified field.
Step 3: Click on the ‘login’ button to submit the details, after which your admit card appears on the screen.
Step 4: Finally, download and take a print out of NATA 2020 admit card for future reference.

What to Do if Forgot NATA Application Number?
If you forget your login credentials, then you follow the steps below to get it back, as candidates need them to download NATA admit card.
Step 1: Open the official website from the link given on this page.
Step 2: Click on the link for downloading NATA 2020 admit card
Step 3: The login portal opens up. Now click on the ‘Forgot Application Number/ Password’ button as shown in the picture below:
Step 4: A new window opens up. You have to enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, security question & answer (as selected during the registration process of NATA).
Step 5: After you click on the ‘Find’ button, your Application Number/ Password will display on the next window.

How to Keep NATA 2020 Admit Card Safe?
As per the instructions of CoA:
- Candidates must ensure that the photograph and signature printed on the admit card are not mutilated / distorted / soiled even by accident. If this happens, such candidates shall not be allowed inside the exam center.
- Also, the admit card is to be preserved until the admission process is over.
Thus how do you keep the admit card safe?
Here are a few tips:
A) Do not fold the admit card print copy: The fold if falls over the bar code or the photo printed on the admit card may destroy the print. Thus keep it unfolded.
B) Keep the admit card inside a clear file: The printed copy of the admit card must be kept under a clear file to keep it safe from any distortions. This shall preserve the NATA 2020 admit card safely for a long time. Also on the exam day carry the clear file with the admit card inside. If instructed keep the clear file out of the exam hall before you enter.

Things to Carry to NATA 2020 Exam Centre
On the day of the entrance exam, candidates need to carry the following documents to their allotted test center.
Print out of NATA admit card – You must a hard copy of the admit card. Digital copy is not allowed.
Original ID proof: Any of the valid Id proof for verification process –
- Voter Card, or
- Pan Card, or
- Aadhar Card, or
- Driving Licence
Stationery items: You can carry pen, pencils, eraser, color pencils (no water/oil color or crayon). Candidates can also carry cardboard or a clipboard on which nothing should be written.
Why should I report at the exam center early?
This is because verifying the identity of the candidate like taking the biometrics and a webcam photo is done before a candidate is allotted a seat in the examination center. Thus, make sure to reach the exam center as per the reported time on the admit card.
What Not to Carry to NATA 2020 Exam Centre?
Candidates are not allowed to carry the following things to the exam hall:
- Any text material that is printed or written
- Bits of paper
- Instruments of any kind including scale are not permitted
- Mobile phones
- Bluetooth devices
- Slide rulers
- Log tables
- Electronic watches with facilities of calculator
Note: CoA instructs the candidates to not write name anywhere on the answer booklet for Part A (Drawing Test).
NATA 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates can check out the NATA 2020 Exam Pattern below:
Duration of the exam: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
Mode of the exam: Part A of the exam is drawing test (pen-paper based) and Part B is an online test.
Language of the Question paper: The questions are asked in English language only.
Type of Questions: Part A has 3 practical questions and the candidate has to draw the answers on an A4 size sheet and Part B cpnsist of MCQ type questions.
Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1.5 marks and there is no negative marking.

About NATA 2020
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), is conducted by the Council of Architecture since the year 2006. It is a National Level Entrance Exam conducted at various test centres all over India. The exam is mandatory for all the eligible candidates who want to get admission into B.Arch programme at all recognized Institutions of India.
