All six branch sections are printed one after another in the 2017 booklet, but each candidate answered only the branch matching the paper code on the admit card. The cover lists the booklet pages for each branch.

Which NERIST NEE paper from 2017 is on this page?
Only the NEE-III paper, which diploma holders take for B.Tech lateral entry. We do not have the 2017 NEE-I or NEE-II papers.
How was the NEE-III 2017 paper marked?
It had 130 questions for 150 marks in 3 hours: 80 one-mark questions in Physics, Chemistry and Maths, and 30 one-mark plus 20 two-mark questions in the branch section. A wrong answer cost a quarter of the question’s marks.
