What is the NEET MDS 2027 syllabus?
The NEET MDS syllabus is the full BDS course as laid down in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 and later amendments. NBEMS does not publish a separate topic list. Instead, its bulletin fixes how many questions come from each subject, as shown below.

In 2026, Dental Anatomy, Embryology and Oral Histology was counted in Part A, not Part B. Nutrition and Dietetics is not listed as a separate subject.
What is the NEET MDS 2027 exam pattern and marking scheme?
NEET MDS has 240 questions in 3 hours, with Part A and Part B timed separately. Once the 75 minutes for Part A end, Part B starts on its own and you cannot return to Part A.

There is no separate syllabus PDF. The subject list and question counts are in the NEET MDS information bulletin, and the detailed BDS syllabus is on the Dental Council of India website, dciindia.gov.in.

How to Prepare for the NEET MDS 2027 Syllabus
Plan by question count. Part B carries 140 of the 240 questions, but every Part A subject also carries 14 or 15 questions, so no subject can be skipped.
- Revise the BDS first and second year subjects for Part A, especially General Medicine and General Surgery, which carry 15 questions each.
- Cover all 10 clinical subjects for Part B evenly, since each carries 14 questions.
- Practise with timed mock tests that lock Part A after 75 minutes, so you get used to the time-bound format.
- Solve NEET MDS previous year question papers to learn the question style.
- Keep short notes of high-yield facts and recent advances, and revise them in several rounds before the exam.
