How to Download the NEST 2027 Admit Card
You download the NEST 2027 admit card from the application portal linked on nestexam.in using the login details you received at registration. In 2026 it came out on 24 May, about two weeks before the exam.
- Open nestexam.in and click LOGIN.
- Enter the login ID and password you created while applying.
- Open the admit card section and download the PDF.
- Check your name, photo, roll number and centre address.
- Print it on A4 paper and keep a spare copy.
The download link stays open only until exam day. In 2026 NEST asked candidates who downloaded early to download the admit card again, so check nestexam.in for such notes.
What details are printed on the NEST admit card?
The admit card shows your exam details and the centre you are allotted.
- Name, photograph and signature
- Roll number and application number
- Exam date and timing
- Test centre name and full address
- Exam-day instructions
Centre allotment is final, and requests to change the centre are generally not accepted. If any detail is wrong, email [email protected] at once.
What documents should you carry to the NEST exam?
You must carry your admit card and a valid photo ID, and keep both in a transparent folder or pouch.

- Divyangjan candidates who need a scribe bring their own scribe, as per government rules
What are the NEST exam-day rules?
Reach the centre at least 60 minutes before the exam starts. These rules are from the NEST 2026 brochure.
- No entry later than 30 minutes after the start (2:30 PM in 2026).
- You cannot leave until 2 hours after the start, except on medical grounds.
- Phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth or WiFi devices, pens, pencils and writing pads are not allowed; rough sheets and a pen are given.
- Calculators and log tables are not allowed; a simple on-screen calculator is provided.
- Opaque water bottles are not allowed.
- Divyangjan candidates get 20 minutes extra per hour, one hour in total.
