How to calculate scores by using Answer Key 2022?
After downloading the answer key, candidates will go through the answer key and estimate their score. Check the exam pattern and marking scheme to know the system on which marks are allotted. Compare the answers marked by you with the Answer Key. Calculate the ‘Correct’ and ‘Incorrect’ answers. For the NID exam there is no negative marking. So it will be easier for the candidates to calculate the marks without any confusion. From the total marks subtract the incorrect answers then the number of correct answers/ marks can be known.
NID estimation score= (total marks – incorrect answers) = correct answers.

Step-1 Candidates must visit the official website to download the answer key and click on the NID DAT 202 answer key tab.
Step-2 In order to download, candidates need to enter the email ID, DOB, application number, verification code and then click on “submit”

How to Challenge the NID Answer Key 2022?

- If candidates find any variations in the NID 2022 provisional answer key they have the right for challenging the particular question.
- Candidates can challenge the answer key from the official website by entering the login credentials/registered email Id through online.
- There is a limit for challenging, candidates can challenge only three questions.
- Candidates need to provide clear justification or solved answers to the challenge. Separate challenges must be given for each question.
- To challenge the questions the candidates need to pay 1000/- for each of the questions.
- The fee will be refunded to candidates if the authority found that the challenge is lawful. If the challenge is not justifiable then the fee is not refunded to the candidate.
- If the challenge is found to be acceptable, candidates who have attempted that question mark will be added for them.

What after the NID Answer Key 2022 is out?
After the answer key is out, NID releases results on its official website. Candidates must check the NID website for notice of the results. The NID will release the result for both BDes and MDes courses in the form of a merit list. If any candidate found that his/her results are not correct or if not satisfied by the results can go for the rechecking. The NID gives the chance to the candidates for rechecking NID DAT Prelims answer booklets after the results are released. Candidates can apply for the NID answer booklets rechecking online from the official website of NID. For applying to recheck the candidates need to attach a copy of NID admit card including the sign of the invigilator. After the completion of rechecking by the authority of the answer booklet, if any errors are found in the answer sheet the marks will be allotted according to the marking scheme. National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad, has its extension campuses at Gandhinagar & Bengaluru, that is ‘Institute of National Importance as per the NID Act 2014 as well as an autonomous Institute under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
