NID will not publish an answer key for the DAT 2027 Prelims, held on 20 December 2026. Its 2027-28 handbook says the question booklet cum answer key is not available even on request. Instead, you can ask for re-totalling of your marks after the result and get a copy of your answer sheet once admissions end.

How to Check Your NID DAT 2027 Marks Without an Answer Key
You check your marks through the Prelims result and, if needed, a re-totalling request on the NID portal.
- Download your Prelims scorecard when the result comes out (16 February 2027 for M.Des, 16 March 2027 for Integrated M.Des / B.Des).
- If you think marks were missed, open the re-totalling link in your NID account during the window.
- Upload a scan of your admit card signed by the invigilator and stamped with the centre seal.
- Pay the Rs 2,000 fee online and submit the request.
- Watch your registered email for any revision of marks; the revised score is final.
Does NID release the DAT question paper or answer key?
No. NID says the DAT question booklet cum answer key will not be shared even on request, because the test is highly subjective. There is no objection window either.

How to Get a Copy of Your NID DAT Answer Sheet
You can request your answer sheet only after the full admission process ends. NID keeps the sheets for six months after the final result.
- Pay Rs 1,000 online for each exam whose sheet you want.
- Submit the admit card signed by the invigilator with the test centre seal.
- NID sends the copy within 15 to 20 days of payment.
