The NIFT 2027 admit card for Stage 1 will be released by NTA on exams.nta.nic.in/niftee a few days before the exam, which is proposed for 10 January 2027. You download it with your application number and password. In 2026 the admit card came out on 4 February 2026 for the 8 February exam.

How to Download the NIFT 2027 Admit Card
- Go to exams.nta.nic.in/niftee.
- Click the NIFT 2027 admit card link when it is live.
- Log in with your application number and password and enter the security code.
- Check your name, photo, programme, test timings and centre address.
- Download the admit card with the self-declaration (undertaking) and print it clearly on A4 paper.
What is the NIFT exam city intimation slip?
The city slip tells you the city of your exam centre before the admit card is released. It is not an admit card. In 2026 NTA released it on 29 January 2026, ten days before the exam.
What details are printed on the NIFT 2027 admit card?
The admit card shows your identity details and when and where each of your Stage 1 tests will be held. B.Des and M.Des candidates take GAT in the morning and CAT in the afternoon on the same day.
- Your name, photograph and signature.
- Application number and roll number.
- Programme applied for and the test or tests you will take (GAT, CAT).
- Exam date, reporting time and test timings.
- Name and address of the exam centre.
- Self-declaration and exam-day instructions.
What should you carry to the NIFT exam centre?
- The printed admit card with the self-declaration filled in.
- A simple transparent ball point pen.
- Two extra photographs, the same as in your application, for the attendance sheet.
- One original photo ID: college ID, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar, ration card or bank passbook with photo.
- Your PwD certificate and UDID, if you claim a PwD facility.
- For CAT only: your colouring and drawing material in a transparent pencil box.
What are the NIFT exam-day rules?
- Do not carry a mobile phone, calculator, smartwatch, earphones, bag, purse, paper or eatables; these count as unfair means.
- Only CAT candidates may bring drawing material, and only in a transparent box. NTA gives you a physical CAT booklet at the centre.
- Diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets, fruit and a transparent water bottle.
- Do not write your name or any identifying mark on the CAT answer sheet.
- Friends and relatives are not allowed into the centre.
Is there a separate admit card for NIFT Stage 2?
Yes. Shortlisted candidates get a new admit card for the situation test, studio test or skill test, and PG candidates get an interview call letter. In 2026 the PG call letters came on 1 April 2026 and the UG Stage 2 admit cards on 22 April 2026. If any detail is wrong, contact NTA at [email protected] or 011-40759000.
