How to Check the PU LLB 2027 Result
- Go to results.puchd.ac.in once the result is declared. The link is also posted on pglaw.puchd.ac.in.
- Open the PU-LL.B. (3 Years) Entrance Test 2027 result link.
- Enter your roll number or the other details asked for.
- Check your marks and download or print the page.
In 2026 the result was declared on 14 July, a day before the tentative date of 15 July. No separate result card is issued, so keep your printout.
How is the PU LLB merit list made?
Panjab University puts you on the merit list only if you score at least 20% of the total marks, which is 20 out of 100. SC, ST, BC and PwD candidates need 15%.
- The final merit for LL.B. admission is based 100% on the entrance test score.
- If two candidates have equal marks, the one with a higher bachelor’s degree percentage ranks higher.
- If that is also equal, the higher percentage in the exam before the degree counts, and then the older candidate ranks higher.
- Reserved category candidates who meet general eligibility without relaxation are also considered for general seats.
What is the expected PU LLB 2027 cut off?
Panjab University publishes no official cut-off, so the closing ranks and marks below are from Round 1 counselling in 2024 at two regional centres.

The Department of Laws in Chandigarh, the most preferred centre, closes higher than the regional centres. Whatever the closing marks, you must first score the qualifying 20 marks (15 for SC, ST, BC and PwD) to enter the merit list.
What should you do after the PU LLB result?
Qualifying the test does not give you a seat. You must apply for admission separately at onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in by its last date.
- Fill the online admission form at onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in and choose your reserved categories, if any. You cannot change the category later.
- Watch the Department of Laws online notice board for the tentative and provisional merit lists and the counselling schedule.
- Attend counselling in person on your date, with all original documents and your admit card.
- Sign the attendance sheet. Only candidates who attend are considered in later rounds for vacant seats.
Admission is provisional until Panjab University approves it, and seats of students who attend less than 33% of classes in the first ten working days can be cancelled.
Can you get your PU LLB marks verified?
Yes, but only by buying a photocopy of your OMR answer sheet for Rs 10,000 within 10 days of the result. There is no re-evaluation. Check your answers first against the PU LLB answer key to decide if it is worth it.
