PU LLB 2020
Candidates will not simply become eligible for admissions to the LLB courses by appearing for the Panjab University LLB Entrance Test. They will need to satisfy all the eligibility conditions applicable for admissions and should also clear the Cut Off scores in the PU LLB Entrance Test. PU LLB 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The Entrance Test for Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) shall be open to all such candidates who possess the qualifications as mentioned below:
- Bachelor‟s/Master‟s Degree in any discipline with at least 45%* marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Bar Council of India and Panjab University
- In case a candidates having Bachelor’s degree of this University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate, through Modern Indian Languages Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi (Gurmukhi script) and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit or Persian or Arabic), the aggregate of 45% marks shall be calculated by taking into account the percentage of aggregate marks that he had secured at the language examination, excluding the marks for the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together.
- * 5% concession is admissible in eligibility marks to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates.
PU LLB 2020 Application form
Interested applicants can apply online on the official website of the University. You can also apply by clicking on the direct link which will be provided at application page. Candidates first need to register online and create a Login ID and password using ‘New candidate Registration’. Note down the Login ID and Password details. Next, Login using your Login Id and Password and fill the application form online itself. Upload scanned copies of Photograph and signature as per the specified prescription.
Application Fee: For General Category: Rs.2175/- and for SC/ST/ PwD: Rs.1088/-.
PU LLB 2020 Admit Card
The Admit Card for PU LLB 2020 will be released online at the official website. The PU LLB 2020 Admit card is a Roll Number slip which contains the details about the candidate’s entrance exam Roll Number and the exam date, time and venue. Candidates can download their PU LLB Admit Card 2020 from their respective Login account through which they filled the PU LLB Application Form. It is mandatory for exam takers to bring their admit card or else they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
PU LLB 2020 Exam Pattern
The PU LLB Entrance Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Entrance Test will consist of multiple-choice questions of 100 marks. The Question Papers will be available in English; Hindi and Punjabi (except for the portion “Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English” and Legal Aptitude”). However, the medium of instruction will be English only. There shall be Negative Marking for Wrong Answers i.e. marks will be deducted for wrong answers. If for each correct answer 1 mark is to be awarded, for a wrong answer ¼ mark will be deducted.
The questions to be asked in the entrance test will be based upon following three components:

PU LLB 2020 Answer Key
The PU LLB 2020 Answer Key will be released four to five days after the examination will be conducted. The answer key will be released by the Panjab University. The Answer Key of the PU LLB Entrance Exam will be extremely useful for the candidates as with the help of answer key, candidates can cross-check their answers in the exam with that in the answer key. With the help of answer key, candidates can estimate their probable score and can know their chances of clearing the entrance test. The scores should be calculated as per the marking scheme provided by the University.
PU LLB 2020 Result
The PU LLB 2020 Result will be declared in online mode by the Panjab University. The result will be published online mode only. No separate result card will be sent to candidates. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test and the qualifying examination, i.e. in a ratio of 50:50.
Selected candidates will have to appear or participate in the counselling session as per the schedule. If any candidate is not present physically during the counselling session, he/she will not be considered for admission or counseling in the subsequent rounds. At the time of counselling, selected candidates will have to carry the prescribed documents in original.
Counselling
A candidate, whose name appears in the Merit List will be required to attend counselling personally according to her/his merit position on the scheduled date. The dates of any further counselling, if any, will be uploaded to the Online Notice Board and also on the physical notice board of the department concerned. Physical presence in the counselling is mandatory for all the candidates on the notified dates. All those candidates who attend the counselling are required to sign the attendance sheet as a mark of their attendance. Only those candidates who report and mark their attendance on the day(s) of counselling shall be considered for admission in the subsequent counselling(s) for the filling up of vacant seats. The candidate must bring along with all the original documents. The candidate shall attend the counselling for admission at her/his own risk, expense and responsibility.
