PUMEET Answer Key 2027: Release Date, Objections, Score

The PUMEET answer key 2027 is expected in June 2027, on the day of the test, on the Panjab University notice board at exams.puchd.ac.in together with the question booklet. Objections are sent by email to [email protected] within about two days. Use the key with the +1 and -1/4 marking to estimate your score.

How to Download the PUMEET 2027 Answer Key

1. Go to exams.puchd.ac.in and open the online notice board.
2. Find the notice “Answer Key of PUMEET (PU Migration Engineering Entrance Test)” for the year. The question booklet is a separate notice.
3. Open the PDF and compare it with the answers you marked on your OMR sheet.

No login is needed. In 2026 the booklet and the key were both posted on 14 June, the day of the test. Keys of earlier years are on the PUMEET previous year question papers page.

How do you raise objections to the PUMEET answer key?

You email your objections to [email protected] by the date given in the answer key notice; email is the only way. In 2026 the window ran from 14 June to 16 June.

1. Note the question number and the answer you think is right.
2. Give a reason or a reference for each objection.
3. Email the objections to [email protected] before the deadline.
4. Watch the notice board for the university’s response to the objections.
5. If you disagree with a change, send a cross-objection by email within the time given.

In 2026 the response to objections came on 22 June and cross-objections were open till 24 June. The result is then prepared from the final key.

How do you calculate your PUMEET score from the answer key?

Add 1 mark for each correct answer and take away 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Questions you left blank count as zero.

An X against a question in the key means it was ambiguous or had a printing mistake, and everyone gets credit for it. The 2019 and 2023 keys each had five such questions, while the 2024 to 2026 keys had none.

Can you get your PUMEET OMR sheet checked again?

There is no re-evaluation or rechecking. To verify your result, you can ask for a photocopy of your OMR sheet by paying Rs 10,000 within 10 days of the result. If a mistake is found, your result is revised and the fee refunded.
