The PUMEET result 2027 is expected in July 2027 on the Panjab University results website, if the test is held. In 2026 it was declared on 1 July, 17 days after the test. No result card is sent. Candidates who reach the qualifying marks get a rank, and seats are filled in rank order at in-person counselling at UIET, Chandigarh.

How to Check the PUMEET 2027 Result
- Go to the Panjab University results website (PU results).
- Open Entrance Results and select the PUMEET link for the year.
- Enter the details asked, such as your roll number from the Roll No. slip.
- Check your marks and rank.
- Save or print the result; you need it at counselling.
Panjab University does not issue separate result cards, so the online result is your only copy. The press release of 1 July 2026 announced the 2026 result on results.puexam.in.
How is the PUMEET merit list made?
The university publishes one common merit-cum-rank list based only on PUMEET marks, for candidates who reach the qualifying marks. Branch and institute are decided at counselling, by rank and the seats still open.
If two candidates have equal marks, the one with the higher percentage in the first year of B.E. or B.Tech ranks higher. If that is also equal, Class 12 marks decide, and then the older candidate ranks higher.
What is the expected PUMEET 2027 cut off?
The only PUMEET cut off is the qualifying mark needed for a rank, which is expected to stay the same for 2027.

Panjab University does not publish closing ranks, so your chance of a seat depends on your rank and the vacant seats left in each branch when your turn comes.
What happens at PUMEET counselling?
Counselling is held in person at UIET, Panjab University, Sector 25, Chandigarh, and candidates are called in rank order. In 2026 the first PUMEET round was on 4 August and a joint PUMEET and PULEET round followed on 12 August.
- Download the admission and scrutiny forms from pumeet.puchd.ac.in and fill them in.
- Report at the time given for your rank (in 2026, ranks 1 to 100 at 9:30 AM and the rest at 2:30 PM in round 1).
- Get your documents checked at the scrutiny desk and collect your allotment slip.
- Pay by demand draft: Rs 1,500 counselling fee (not refunded) and Rs 45,000 admission fee, plus Rs 50,000 migration fee if you come from outside Panjab University (2026 amounts).
- Join your allotted institute on the date notified.
Bring the scrutiny form, PUMEET result, JEE Main result card, Class 10 and 12 certificates, first and second semester mark sheets, character certificate, migration certificate (if not from PU), any category certificates and three passport-size photos. If you report late, you can choose only from the seats still unfilled.
