The SLIET SET result 2027 is expected in May 2027, about nine days after the test. In 2026 results for SET-I, II, III, IV, VI and VII were declared on 18 May, and the Ph.D. (SET-V) result came on 7 August. Qualified candidates then take part in SLIET’s online counselling.

How to Check the SLIET SET Result 2027
SLIET posts the result notice on its SET website on the date given in the brochure.
- Open the SLIET SET website on the result date and look for the SET-2027 result notice.
- Log in to the SLIET admission portal with your Form Number and password.
- Check your result and merit position for your test.
- Save or print it, and note the choice-filling dates for your programme.
How is the SLIET SET 2027 merit list prepared?
Merit is based on your SET marks, and you must score at least the cut-off marks set by the SET core committee to be listed.
- ICD: one common merit list for SET-I; branches are allotted by merit, choice and seats.
- B.E. and Integrated M.Tech lateral entry: separate merit lists for Groups A, B, C and D of SET-III.
- MBA: final merit out of 150, made of SET-IV or CAT/CMAT/GATE marks scaled to 100, group discussion (25) and interview (25).
- Integrated M.Sc and M.Sc: SET-II or SET-VI qualifiers get preference for SLIET’s institute-level seats, alongside JEE Main, CUET, PUCET, NEET or JAM scorers.
- Ties go to the older candidate, then to higher marks in the qualifying exam.
SLIET does not publish SET cut-off marks or closing ranks, so no cut-off figures are given here.
What happens after the SLIET SET 2027 result?
Counselling is online for every programme except Ph.D. There are no call letters, so you must follow the schedule on the SLIET website yourself.
- Fill your choices of branch in your login within the choice-filling window; it is compulsory for ICD and for B.E. lateral entry Groups A and C.
- Check the seat allotment for each round and pay the fee online within the deadline, or the seat is cancelled.
- Take part in upgradation rounds if you want a better branch.
- If you miss the regular rounds, join the special round by paying a Rs 5,000 token amount, which is adjusted in the fee.
- Report to SLIET for document verification with your originals and the signed registration form.
In 2026 ICD choice filling ran from 19 to 22 May and Round I allotment was on 23 May. For the Ph.D., counselling is offline and in person on dates set by the Dean (R&C).

The total includes Rs 5,000 refundable caution money and one semester of tuition and other fees. Hostel residents also pay Rs 10,000 refundable hostel caution money. Eligible SC students with Punjab domicile pay no tuition fee at admission under the Post Matric Scholarship scheme.
