Scorecards can be downloaded from 10 March to 31 July 2027, and only ranked candidates can apply for B.Des seats.

How to Check the UCEED 2027 Result
The result is available only on the official UCEED website, from 6 March 2027.
- Open the UCEED candidate portal on or after 6 March 2027.
- Log in with the user login and password you created during registration.
- View your Part-A score and, if shortlisted, your Part-B score, total and rank.
- Download your scorecard between 10 March and 31 July 2027 and keep copies for the B.Des application.
Hard copies are not issued, and scorecards are not sent by email.
What is on the UCEED 2027 scorecard?
Every candidate who appeared gets a scorecard, but what it shows depends on how far you cleared.
- Part-A score, for every candidate
- Part-B score and total score, if you cleared the Part-A shortlist
- QUALIFIED status and your rank or ranks by category, if you also cleared the Part-B cut-off
How does IIT Bombay qualify and rank UCEED 2027 candidates?
You need to clear two cut-offs, one for each part, to get a rank.
- Part-A shortlist: IIT Bombay works out a measure, delta = mean + (standard deviation / 2) of all Part-A marks. The cut-off is delta for OPEN, 0.9 delta for OBC-NCL and EWS, and 0.5 delta for SC, ST and PwD.
- If more than 6,400 candidates clear that measure, the top 6,400 by Part-A score are shortlisted instead, plus anyone tied at the last place.
- Part-B cut-off (out of 100): 15 for OPEN, 13.5 for OBC-NCL and EWS, and 7.5 for SC, ST and PwD.
- Rank is based on Part-A plus Part-B marks. Ties go to higher Part-B marks, then Part-A Section 2, then Section 1.
- There is no re-evaluation, and evaluated Part-B booklets are not shown to candidates.
What is the expected UCEED 2027 cut off?

What happens after the UCEED 2027 result?
Ranked candidates apply for B.Des seats through one common application from 15 March 2027.
- IIT Bombay runs five rounds of joint seat allotment for its own B.Des seats and those at IIT Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur.
- Other design schools that use UCEED results run their own admissions, so apply on their websites.
- Your UCEED 2027 score is valid for one year, only for admission in 2027-28.
