WBJEEB releases the WB JELET 2027 model answer key on its candidate portal one to two weeks after the exam, with a short window to challenge it, and then publishes final keys. The 2027 exam date is not announced; in 2026 the model key came on 24 June and the final keys on 13 July 2026.

How to Check the WB JELET 2027 Answer Key
The model answer key is shown only for a short period, after you log in on the candidate portal. The final keys are published later as a PDF notice on the JELET page.
- Open the WBJEEB JELET page and click the registered candidates sign-in link.
- Log in with your application number and password.
- Open the model answer key for your paper (Paper I or Paper II).
- Find your booklet series (A, B, C or D). In 2026 it was shown by a symbol at the lower right corner of page 7 of the question booklet.
- Match each question number of your series with the key and note any answer you want to challenge.
The final key PDF lists answers by question number for all four series. For reference, see the JELET 2026 final answer keys; earlier years’ keys are on the JELET question paper pages.
How to View and Challenge Your JELET OMR Responses
WBJEEB uploads an image of your OMR sheet and the machine-read responses about a week after the exam. In 2026 they were out on 2 July with claims open till 4 July 2026, 11:59 PM.
- Category-1 responses show as A, B, C or D; Category-2 responses show the combination of letters you marked; unattempted questions show as ‘-‘.
- If a response was read wrongly, you can claim a review in one session for Rs 500 per response, paid online and not refundable.
- If your booklet or OMR number is shown wrongly, email [email protected] within the same deadline.
- Download and keep your OMR image; it cannot be downloaded after counselling ends.
How to Challenge the WB JELET 2027 Answer Key
You challenge the model key online in the same login, within the window WBJEEB announces. In 2026 the key was out on 24 June and challenges closed on 26 June 2026 at 11:59 PM.
- Log in on the candidate portal during the challenge window.
- Select each question you want to challenge. You can challenge any number of questions, but only once, in one session.
- Pay Rs 500 per question by net banking, card or UPI. The fee is not refunded, and a challenge with failed payment is not reviewed.
- WBJEEB reviews all challenges and publishes the final keys. Scores and ranks are based on the final keys, and no further appeal is heard.
How to Calculate Your WB JELET 2027 Score
Use your OMR responses and the final key with this marking scheme. Paper I is out of 120 and Paper II, which has only Category-1 questions, is out of 100.

Example: in Paper I, 60 correct and 12 wrong Category-1 answers plus 10 fully correct Category-2 answers give 60 – 3 + 20 = 77 marks. A calculation sheet from the Board costs Rs 500 by bank draft.
