WBJEEB declares the WB JELET 2027 result as individual rank cards on its candidate portal, after the final answer keys. No merit list is published. The 2027 dates are not announced; the 2026 result came on 14 July 2026, a day after the final keys, so July 2027 is expected.

How to Check the WB JELET 2027 Result

You see your result only by logging in, because WBJEEB issues individual rank cards and never publishes a rank or score list.

1. Open the WBJEEB JELET page.
2. Click the ‘Rank Card for JELET-2027’ link when it appears.
3. Log in with your application number and password.
4. View the rank card and print it with the portal’s PRINT link. Screenshots and phone photos are not accepted as documents.
5. Keep the printout for counselling and admission; the rank card cannot be downloaded after counselling ends.

If you disagree with your score, email [email protected] within 24 hours of the result with copies of your OMR, rank card, booklet number and series, and your question-wise calculation.

What does the WB JELET 2027 rank card show?

The rank card carries your total score, your component scores in your paper and all ranks that apply to you.

How is the WB JELET 2027 merit list prepared?

WBJEEB makes two rank lists by marks: the General Merit Rank (GMR) for Paper I candidates and the Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) for Paper II. Category ranks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD) are for information; seats are allotted on GMR or PMR.

Ties in Paper I are broken in this order:

1. Fewer negative marks in total
2. More positive marks, then fewer negative marks, in Mathematics
3. The same in Physics, then Chemistry, then Fundamentals of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
4. Older candidate by date of birth
5. Earlier application number

In Paper II, the tie goes first to fewer negative marks in total, then to the older candidate and then to the earlier application number. Every candidate who sits the exam gets a score, but only those within the cut-off rank or score set by WBJEEB get a rank for counselling.

What is the expected WB JELET 2027 cut off?

JELET has no published pass mark, so the useful cut off is the closing rank at each college. As a guide for 2027, these are Round 1 opening and closing ranks for Open category seats from WBJEEB’s official ORCR report for JELET Counselling 2025 (B.Pharm ranks are PMR).

What happens after the WB JELET 2027 result?

• WBJEEB publishes a counselling notification and the seat matrix on its website. In 2026 counselling began on 2 September.
• Register for e-counselling with your JELET application or roll number, rank and academic marks, and pay the Rs 500 registration fee.
• Fill and lock your choices of institutes and courses in order of preference.
• After each allotment, pay the seat acceptance fee if asked, choose upgradation ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, and report to the institute for document verification.
• The 2026 counselling had three rounds and ended on 25 September 2026.
