Selection Criteria for MD/ MS/ M.Ch (6 yrs)/ DM (6yrs)/ MDS
The selection of the candidates appearing for admission to MD/MS/M.Ch (6 yrs)/DM (6yrs)/MDS courses shall be done on the basis of their merit in the AIIMS PG 2020 entrance test. Candidates are also required to be medically fit.
Selection Criteria for DM/ M.Ch (3 yrs)/ MD (HA)
The appearing candidates of DM.M.Ch/MD (Hospital Administration) courses are selected on the basis of a two stage process which can be checked below.
- The first stage is the written entrance examination which contains the MCQ type questions of 80 marks.
- Then the candidates who can score 50% or more marks in stage 1 required to appear for the departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (Stage 2). The maximum marks for stage 2 are 20 marks.
- All the appeared candidates must score a total of more than 50% marks in both stages and then they can get selected for further admission procedure. However, a final result is prepared based upon the marks of the candidates in both stage 1 and stage 2.

About AIIMS PG 2020
All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts the AIIMS PG 2020 examination.
