Tie Breaking Criteria in INI CET 2021
In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in INI CET exam, their tie is resolved in the following order:
- Candidate with less negative marks get higher rank.
- If tie remains, then candidate older in age gets higher rank.
INI CET 2020 Counselling for January 2021 Admission
The INI CET 2020 seat allotment for the available postgraduate seats in participating INIs shall be through online mode only. There will be at least two (2) rounds of counselling, after which, there will be an Open round. If there has to be any additional round, then they will be before the open round. INIs will call candidates equal to 8 times the number of seats in each category, for 1st and 2nd Round of seat allocation.
Seat allotment will be in order of merit, and choices that candidates make, as per the reservation policies of individual INIs with regards to Institutional Preference, Community reservation (OBC, SC, ST, EWS etc.) and PwBD as applicable, through a process of Institute-wise Synchronization of Seat Allocation (InSAS).
Candidates must check the institution specific policies in Part B of the prospectus of individual INIs.
If there are any vacant post graduate seats even after the Open Round, then there may be Spot Round by individual INIs, after due approval of their competent authority, to fill those seats.
