AUEET 2027 (Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test) is the offline test the Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, holds for B.Tech (Self-Supported Mode) admission at AU College of Engineering. How to Apply for AUEET 2027
You apply online only, on the AUEET page of the Andhra University Directorate of Admissions website. The form is expected to open in March 2027; in 2026 it ran from 13 March to 30 April, with a late fee of Rs 750 until 5 May.
Apply Online for AUEET 2027
Applications for AUEET 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Read the AUEET 2027 brochure when it is released and check that you meet the eligibility rules.
- Keep ready your qualifying exam hall ticket number, marks and year of passing, date of birth as in SSC records, caste details (SC/ST/BC/EWS) and any special category (PwD, NCC, Sports, CAP).
- Keep a study or residence certificate ready as proof of local status.
- Open the AUEET online application and pay the fee by Union Bank or debit card, credit card or net banking.
- Fill in the form, choose your test centre and check every detail before you press Submit. The category you claim cannot be changed later.
- Print the filled-in form. Your application number is used for all later steps, including the hall ticket download.

Which B.Tech courses and seats does AUEET 2027 lead to?
AUEET is used only for B.Tech courses run in Self-Supported Mode at AU College of Engineering (A), Visakhapatnam. These were the 2026-27 seats and yearly fees:

Students also pay a special fee of Rs 1,760 a year and a one-time accreditation fee of Rs 3,000. Self-supported students get no fee reimbursement or scholarship. After the four-year B.Tech, students can continue for two more years to do an M.Tech if they wish.
Who can apply for AUEET 2027?
You can apply if you have passed 10+2 (Intermediate or equivalent) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and at least 45% marks, or 40% if you belong to a reserved category. Students appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.
- 85% of seats in each course are reserved for local candidates of the Andhra University area: the erstwhile Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts.
- The remaining 15% are open to AU-area locals and certain non-local candidates, such as SVU-area locals and those with ten years of residence in Andhra Pradesh.
- 10% extra (supernumerary) seats in each course are available to candidates from other states.
- Reservation follows Andhra Pradesh rules: SC 15%, ST 6%, BC 29%, EWS 10% (supernumerary), plus PwD, NCC, Sports and CAP quotas, and 33.33% of seats for women.

What is the AUEET 2027 exam pattern?
AUEET is a 90-minute offline test of 90 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, answered on an OMR sheet. Mathematics carries more weight than Physics and Chemistry.

The syllabus follows the AP EAPCET (Class 11 and 12) syllabus; see the AUEET 2027 syllabus. In 2026 the test was held at seven centres: Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Rajamahendravaram, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupathi. You cannot change your centre after submitting the form.
How does admission work after AUEET 2027?
Admission is by AUEET rank through online counselling in phases, run by the Directorate of Admissions. In 2026 there were four phases, from June to September.
- Download your rank card after the result.
- Register for counselling, pay the registration fee (Rs 500, or Rs 250 for SC/ST/PwD in 2026) and upload your certificates.
- Enter your course choices (web options) in the given window.
- Check your seat allotment and pay the course fee online by the last date.
- Report to the Principal, AU College of Engineering (A), with original certificates for verification.
If you cancel your seat, you get back 90% of the fee before the first phase ends, 80% before the second phase ends, and nothing after that.
