BHU UET 2019 – The University has released its BHU UET 2019 Application Form and Information Brochure for the session of 2019 – 20 on its official website at bhuonline.in. BHU UET 2019 is scheduled to take place on May 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 2019. It is going to be conducted in two shifts. Banaras Hindu University conducts BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) for admissions to some undergraduate general, professional, other professional and vocational courses. which is a national level admission test. BHU UET 2019 Application Form

After going through the BHU UET 2019 eligibility norms, candidates can start applying for BHU UET 2019 in online mode. The Banaras Hindu University has released the application forms over its official website i.e bhuonline.in. to apply for BHU UET 2019 Application Form, candidates need to register first. After the registration candidates are required to fill the Identification Form and then select the course. After the selection of the course, fill the details in the Application Form and upload the documents in the prescribed format only. Then, select the mode of the examination in which you like to appear. Then, select the test centres as per the mode of the examination. As the last step, pay the Application Fee via available payment methods.

BHU UET 2019 Selection Procedure

The admission of a candidate is going to depend on the eligibility requirements whether he is meeting the criteria or not. The admission is going to be made strictly on the bais of merit in UET, availability of seats in their respective course. After the exae mination and its result, the concerned authorities are going to issue the Call Letters. Candidates can download their call letters from their Entrance Test Portal which is www.bhu.online.in.

BHU UET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Prior to form filling, a candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down by the BHU. A different course will require to fulfill different eligibility criteria to be fulfilled. So, an interested candidate must be able to fulfill all the eligibility norms, as laid by the authorities. Failure to do so, an applicant’s candidature may be canceled.

Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidates should have qualified passed in 10+2 examinations or equivalent examinations, with a minimum of 50% Marks.

Age Limit: The candidates must not be more than 22 years as on July 1, 2019.

  • Only for B.Ed. Course – Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in
    the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto or eligible for admission to the programme.
  • Only for L.L.B Hons. in Bachelor of Laws Course – Candidates must have a B.A / B.Sc. / B.Com / Shastri Degree, with 50% marks in the core subjects. OR should possess any equivalent degree which is recognized by BCI.
  • Only for B.A. L.L.B Hons Course – Minimum marks in qualifying exam is 50% for General category applicants, 45% for OBC and 40% for SCs & ST candidates.

BHU UET 2019 Admit Card

BHU UET 2019 Admit Card is going to be made available online on the BHU Entrance Test Portal which is www.bhu.online.in. It is going to be made available one week prior to the examination. An e-mail /SMS is also going to be sent on the registered mobile number or e-mail id of the candidate. Candidates can obtain their admit card by entering their Registration Number. Candidates can even contact the Office of Controller Examinations as soon as possible if they find any discrepancy in the Admit Card. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to preserve the admit card till the end of admissions. Another thing which has to be kept in mind is that no candidate is going to appear for the examination unless and until he / she the admit card.

There is not going to be any postal dispatch of the admit cards, it is going to made available via online mode only.

BHU UET 2019 Test Centers

As the exam is scheduled to be conducted in 2 different modes which are online and offline mode. So, as per that there are different test centres for both the cities.

There are 45 cities for Computer Based Test and 115 cities for Pen – Paper Test. Refer to the information given below for the same:

BHU UET 2019 Qualifying Marks

Candidates are required to match the Qualifying marks after appearing in the examination in order to take admission in some UG Course. Let us what are the qualifying marks which candidates have to attain:

BHU UET 2019 Result

Banaras Hindu University is going to publish the result around the first or second week of June 2019. It is going to be made available on BHU’s Entrance Test Portal which is www.bhu.online.in. The details about the candidate’s marks, his / her overall merit and merit within the category is going to be mailed at his / her registered email id or mobile numbers which is why it is all the more important to provide the correct e-mail id and mobile numbers. The shortlisted candidates are going to be then called for the counselling as per the course they have selected.

Inter – Se Criteria

In the case of equal marks in BHU UET 2019, Inter – se merit is going to be applied. Let us what is the criteria for it.

  • Preference shall be given to the candidates who have higher marks in the examination but for the candidates seeking admission in B.Sc. course their aggregate marks in the Science subject are going to be given consideration.
  • If in case, the candidates have equal marks in the above mentioned examination / subjects then the candidates older in age shall be given consideration.

BHU UET 2019 Counselling

Selected candidates will be called for the final admission round, that of Counseling. Candidates will be required to report at the allotted center as per the allotted center and date. Call letter, along with a few other important documents needs to be carried on this day. This BHU UET 2019 counseling round basically has 3 steps that needs to be completed:

  • Online Preference Entry – A form will be made available online stating their preference or choice regarding subject combination, subject, choice of course, preference of location and seat type.
  • Activity on the day of Counseling – A candidate will be asked to report at the prescribed location as per prescribed date and time, along with a list of important documents.
  • Activity on the next day of Counseling – Final step of counseling will require a candidate to submit the proof of making the payment of admission fee.

Documents required at the time of counseling

  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than BHU (To be submitted not later than 90 days of admission).
  • High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
  • Intermediate (+2) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
  • Mark sheets of High School/equivalent & Intermediate (+2)/equivalent.
  • Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
  • UET Admit Card issued from the office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU.
  • SC/ST/OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.
  • Certificate(s) in support of claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
  • Certificate of being the son/daughter of a permanent in-service employee/Retired/Reemployed/ Deceased employee of BHU in the prescribed format issued by the Central Registry.
