BHU UET 2017 – Banaras Hindu University conduct Undergraduate Entrance Test each year for various UG courses admission. BHU UET 2017 will be held from 30 April 2017 to 31 May 2017 for admission to various undergraduate courses. BHU Admission 2017 is offered in Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Science, Sanskrit, Education, Agriculture, Law. As has been the norm so far, Admission in BHU is looked forward to be done on the basis of merit obtained in BHU UET 2017, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements and availability of seat.
The entire process of making an application for admission in various courses during the academic session 2017-2018 has been made online. Candidates may note that BHU UET 2017 Information Bulletin and Application Form will not be sold offline. Candidates shall be required to register on the Entrance Test portal of BHU and fill up the BHU Online application form 2017. BHU UET 2017
Student who have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with 50% marks, and is not more than 22 year old, is eligible for most of the courses offered thought BHU UET Entrance Exam 2017.
BHU Admission 2017 to the undergraduate courses shall be made on the basis of merit of the candidate in the BHU entrance exam and choice of course(s) given at the time of Counseling after verifying the eligibility for the course.
BHU UET Application Form 2017 can be filled by eligible candidates. The university issued the BHU admission application form 02 Feb 2017 online on the BHU Entrance Exam 2017 Portal bhuonline.in. Last date for online submission of BHU Application Forms is 10 Mar 2017. BHU UET Admit Card 2017 is issued to all the qualified applicants by the university. Candidates can download BHU UET Admit Card from BHU Online Portal.
After the examination BHU Entrance Result 2017 will be announced for all the courses under BHU UET 2017 entrance exam. BHU Result will be hosted online on the admission protal from where students can view it.

BHU Entrance Exam Schedule for UET 2017
There will be separate Test Paper for each subject. BHU Entrance Exam 2017 will be conducted on Sundays in two meetings in a day. 1st Meeting Timing is from 08.00 AM and 2nd Meeting timing is from 03.00 PM. Course wise examination schedule is given below.
The entrance test dates of the following courses have been re-scheduled, due to clash of IIT-JEE (Advance) test on 21 May 2017:
There shall be negative marking in entrance tests for all Courses of study in UET. Three marks shall be awarded for each correct answer while one mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted question will be awarded zero mark.

BHU Admission Procedure 2017
The admission of a candidate in a course will be done only when eligibility is satisfied, appears in the BHU UET 2017, qualifies in the BHU Entrance Exam and completes all formalities required for BHU admission 2017 in the course. The admissions in BHU shall be made strictly on the basis of merit index in the BHU UET Exam, availability of seats in the course.
The admission process will begin after the declaration of UET results. The admission will be done by the Admission Committees of the respective departments. The concerned Head of the Department / Coordinator will issue electronic call letters to the candidates for Counseling.
As soon as the electronic call letters are issued, the shortlisted candidates may Login on the Candidate segment of the Entrance Test Portal for downloading the call letter. Information on issue of Call Letter will be sent to the candidate’s on their registered e-mail ids / mobile numbers.
The number of call letters will be nearly two-four times the number of seats available in the course. Admission is based strictly on merit index obtained in the Entrance Test.
BHU UET 2017 Documents Required
Candidate shall have to bring necessary document mentioned below in original on the day of counselling.
- Transfer Certificate.
- Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than BHU
- High School, Intermediate (+2) Certificate.
- Mark sheets of High School & Intermediate (+2)
- Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
- UET Admit Card issued
- SC/ST/OBC Certificate
- Other Certificate(s) in support of claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
- Certificate of being the son/daughter of a permanent in-service employee / Retired / Reemployed / Deceased employee of BHU issued by the Central Registry.
