The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will conduct the Undergraduate Entrance Test 2018 for admission in various Undergraduate courses. The candidates who want to pursue any of the courses such as General, Professional and Vocational courses offered by the University will have to appear for the separate examination. On the basis of the merit obtained in the UET and the available seats for the particular course, the eligible candidates will be considered for the admission. The interested candidates can apply online through the BHU Entrance Test Portal i.e. bhuonline.in which will also be available on the official website of BHU i.e. bhu.ac.in.
The candidates must keep this in mind that they must fulfill the eligibility conditions specified by the University for each course. The application forms will be available as per the scheduled dates only. The candidates will be required to successfully complete the application process in order to proceed further in the admission process. The candidates who will qualify the UET 2018 will be called for the next stages of the admission process.
BHU UET 2018
The important dates regarding the BHU admissions are not yet announced but the interested ones can have the tentative dates for the examination, application etc as mentioned in the table below:

Eligibility Criteria for BHU UET 2018
To appear for the BHU UET 2018, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the examination as decided by the University. The eligibility requirements are mentioned below:
- Minimum Educational Qualification – The candidates need to be passed in 10+2 examinations or equivalent examinations.
- Age – The candidates must not to be more than 20 – 25 years as on July 1, 2018.
BHU UET 2018 Application Form
The eligible candidates can apply for the particular offered course by filling the online application form. The application form will be available on the Entrance test Portal i.e. bhuonline.in. This link will also be available on official website of BHU i.e. bhu.ac.in. The candidates need to note this that the whole application process will only be done online; no other mode will be provided to the candidates. The application form needs to be filled as per the instructions given in the Portal along with the payment of the requisite application processing/entrance test fee which is as follows:

- For Others – Rs. 500/-
The university will start the availability of online application form tentatively in the month of February 2018. The candidates will be required to complete the application process before the last date. Before applying, the candidates must read all the registration details on the BHU Entrance Test Portal carefully to understand the application procedure and all other requirements.
BHU UET 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for BHU UET 2018 will be made available one week before the day of the examination. The candidates who will successfully complete the application process will be able to download through the BHU Entrance Test Portal (i.e. bhuonline.in) by providing the unique registration ID given to them at the time of the online submission of application form. An Email/SMS Alert regarding the downloading of Admit Card will also be sent on the registered email id/mobile number by the candidate. Therefore, the candidates are advised to provide the correct email id/mobile number during the application process. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre without the admit card.
Note – In case, any candidate will be unable to download the admit card 3 days prior to the examination then he/she must contact the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
Declaration of Result for BHU UET 2018
The result will apparently be announced in the 1st – 2nd week of June 2018 after the examinations. It will be made available to the candidates through the BHU Entrance Test Portal. It will contain the marks obtained by the candidates, their overall merit and merit to which he/she belongs. The candidates can get the result details through registered email address and SMS at his/her registered mobile number. The candidates will be required to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in order to get admission in the particular course for which they have applied for. On the basis of the merit obtained, the qualified candidates will be called for the further counselling process.
BHU UET 2018 Counselling
The counselling or the admission for the BHU UET 2018 for a candidate in a course will be done only on the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions, qualifying the UET examination and completing all the requirements for the admission. The admission of the candidate will be strictly on the basis of the marks obtained by him/her in the entrance examination.
The counselling process will start after the declaration of the UET results. It will be conducted by the Admission Committees of the respective departments. The candidate will get the Call letters by the concerned head of the department for the counselling. The call letters will have to be downloaded from the BHU Entrance Test Portal (i.e. bhuonlin.in). The counselling process will be done in three steps i.e. Online Preference Entry, Activity on the day of Counselling and Activity on the next day of the Counselling Date. The candidates must go through all the stages of the admission process in order to get admitted in the desired course.
Documents required at the time of Admission
The candidates who will be shortlisted/waitlisted will be provided with Call Letters by the concerned authority. The candidate who will be called for the admission to the particular course on a scheduled date/time will have to bring the following documents in Original as mentioned below:
- Transfer Certificate.
- Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than BHU (To be submitted not later than 90 days of admission).
- High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
- Intermediate (+2) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
- Mark sheets of High School/equivalent & Intermediate (+2)/equivalent.
- Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
- UET Admit Card issued from the office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU.
- SC/ST/OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.
- Certificate(s) in support of claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
- Certificate of being the son/daughter of a permanent in-service employee/Retired/Reemployed/ Deceased employee of BHU in the prescribed format issued by the Central Registry
