BITSAT 2027 FAQs

Can I take both BITSAT sessions?
Yes. You can appear up to two times, choosing both sessions while applying or adding Session 2 later for an extra fee. If you take both, BITS uses the higher of your two scores for admission.
Does BITS Pilani accept JEE Main scores?
No. BITSAT is the only route into the B.E., B.Pharm and M.Sc. programmes at the three Indian campuses, apart from direct admission for board toppers.
Is there any reservation in BITSAT admission?
No. BITS says admission is made purely on merit, on your BITSAT score, as long as you meet the Class 12 marks rule. There is one cut-off score per programme, with no category-wise list.
Are there BITSAT centres outside India?
Yes. In 2026 the test was also held in Dubai, Kuwait and Kathmandu (Nepal), with a higher fee for the Dubai centre.
Does BITS Pilani release the BITSAT question paper or answer key?
No. Each candidate gets a different set drawn from a large question bank, so there is no common paper or official answer key. Your score appears on screen at the end of the test.
